Answer: I recently used mine to seal venison sausage. Clamp worked fine, no issue with sealing for me. It just holds it in place, not really a clamp.

Answer: The only 'loud' noise (by comparison with generally quiet operation) is when the vacuum sealing process completes. This unit is much quieter that my FoodSaver unit .

Answer: The vp215 is NOT approved for sealing retort pouches.
Question: Is this machine fit for home use? Or just commercial use
Answer: It's great for home use. I keep it on the countertop. Daily, I seal salad ingredients in jars and they stay fresh a long time (11 days and romaine was still good, radishes spot-free and like new). Leftovers sealed in jars last longer in the fridge. I buy tea bags in bulk and pack them in canning jars; it takes 20 seconds to do 3 pint jars at a time. Buy meat in bulk or on sale, and make portion packs. Buy frozen veggies in bulk and make portion packs for grab and go dinner prep. Cereal, pretzels, and nuts are still like-new fresh a year later, sealed in jars. It's great for things you're slow to use up. Store-bought jars (jam, mustard, etc.) also seal up to prolong freshness, and can be washed and they'll seal up again with something new inside. There's a complete range of options to suit your needs: adjustable vacuum times, sealing times, and heat-seal bar cooling times. You can do jars without any sealing or cooling. You can do a tight, form-fitting bag seal, or not use any vacuum power at all, and seal a bag of potato chips unbroken. Answer: Yes, I seal quart jars (both regular and wide mouth) by leaving the bands loose and placing the jars on their sides. You can seal up to three quart jars at a time. I set the vacuum cycle to 70 seconds, seal to 0 seconds, & cool for 0 seconds. Since the jars must be placed on their sides, vacuum packing flours does not work well for me, but larger particle contents like beans, peas, or even steal cut oats works very well.Ball jars on side maximum capacity:1 half gallon.3 quart.6 pint.11 half pint.Ball jars standing up maximum capacity:2 pint.7 half pint.

Answer: It can be but the frame is very heavy and the glass is attached to the frame so it’ll be tricky

Answer: I had a picture hanging kit that came with some wire. I looped it through the hooks a few times and then hung the mirror on a nail through a wall stud.
Question: How is it to return one of these if they don’t work out
Answer: It's pretty large. I will say that buying a mirror online and having it shipped was one of the dumbest things I could ever do. We tried twice and both times it arrived broken. The seller was awesome and refunded my money both times. Needless to say I will never try to buy a mirror online again. I believe this particular one is made by Ashley Home furniture so you may try to grab at a store. You'll pay more but it won't be as frustrating.

Answer: 1/2" is fine. I generally leave about 3/4" but I've sealed them right on the edge too. A seal is a seal.

Answer: Yes this is a huge advantage of a chamber machine versus a suction-type vacuum sealer. Using a chamber machine, in most cases what you put in the vacuum pouch stays in the vacuum pouch during the vacuum and seal mode. This includes marinade, infusions, soups, stews and fresh proteins like fish. Items which contain high amounts of air (whipped or carbonation) like mousse, carbonated waters / drinks cannot be vacuumed in a chamber machine. As we say in the trade 99% of all wet or liquid items can be vacuumed sealed using our USV32 chamber vac sealer. Thanks!
Question: How does this compare to vacmaster 215 in terms of reliability and durability? i am using (household use only) it to replace my foodsaver? thanks
Answer: In comparison the VM 215 is a much heavier machine (referred to as the beast) and uses an oil rotary vacuum pump. Weight: USV32 approx 27 pounds vs VM at 85 pounds. With different pumps the cycle time is different as well: USV32 at 50 seconds and VM at 20 seconds. In function and performance very similar. The key questions are: how much will the machines be used (pouches per day) and what is the budget? If going to pack over 50+ pouches per day I recommend the VM due to speed and oil pump. If wanting to do common packaging around the kitchen, fresh game, sous vide and save money then the USV32 will work great and out preform the FS unit you currently have. Moving to any chamber machine the cycle time will be longer than a FS due to how they work and vacuum levels. But the vacuum will be greater and no issues with wet foods or liquids. Answer: The way chamber machine work, including the USV32, a partial vacuum must be drawn in order for the sealing bar mechanism to work. With the USV32 about a 60% vacuum is required to get a positive heat seal. In most cases this is enough vacuum for a good seal and a loose pouch for more delicate items.

Answer: Warranty with Chinese company’s are always a little challenging to explain, with that said yes there is a warranty and the company is legit enough to maybe offer extended warranty but for the price , just buy another one they are very cheap..

Check the bag size with the ruler

Compare the mouth of the bag with the ruler at the front of the machine to determine whether the bag is large (L) or small (S). Then confirm that the size indicator on the right is in the correct position, otherwise, press "SmartVac" to switch.

Put in the bag with food inside

Don't let the edge of the bag mouth exceed the "limit line" while keeping the sealing bar area free of food.

Clamp the lower wall of the bag

To Straighten the lower wall of the bag mouth and clamp it into the clip, you can hold the lower side of the bag taut and ease the bag into the clip with a gentle but firm back and forth motion.

Press "Start/Stop" once to start!

You can use SmartVac function to 0ne-button-start the process. Or you can press the "Customize Vac" to set vacuum time by yourself.

Seal one end of the bag
Place the food in the bag
Press the "Vac&Seal" button to start

Chamber vs. Suction vacuum sealer

Chamber sealing machine can store both solid and liquid items whereas suction/external vacuum sealers are used mainly for packing solid foods.

Yet there is a length limit (depending on the size of the chamber) of the food or the bag when using chamber vacuum sealer while there is almost no length limit of for the external vacuum sealer.

The Chamber vacuum sealers use both cheaper regular/flat pouches and full mesh/embossed bags.

For external/suction sealers, only embossed bags apply.
