Answer:	We recommend leaving approximately 2 inches between the food and the end of the bag to guarantee a good, strong seal.

Answer:	The FM2100-000 does have a moist food setting. This changes the seal level for type of food - moist or dry. Liquids can be drawn up by the vacuum process and liquids between the layers of the bag can have a cooling effect on the heat seal. Adjustable Food Settings Seal Level can extend the seal time to compensate for liquid and create a secure, reliable and air-tight seal.
Question:	Does this unit have to sit flat on counter or can I put it up so it doesn't take up so much counter space
Answer:	It does have to sit flat on the counter while you use it, but I store mine upright in the cupboard to save space.
Question:	Amazon is recommending a 11" x 50' roll to purchase with this 2100 model. Will the 50' roll fit inside this machine
Answer:	Of course you can buy any brand vac bags (check your max width) and of course you can cut the 50’ roll down to any smaller size roll. But I don’t cut it down as you don’t need to keep the roll in the machine to use this equipment. Just sit the 50’ roll in the holder (door top open) use the sliding cutter, then sit the roll to the side (out of the way). Now using the cut material (bag) vac and seal. Really this is easy, don’t over think this. BUY THE BIG ROLL AND SAVE MONEY

Question:	Hi, just received this as a gift for christmas, i attempted to use it for the first time, i plugged it in and it doesn't light up, go on, etc? help
Answer:	I’m sorry it was a gift — I hope you received a gift receipt with it. Here is my review of this product, posted on the product site on Amazon: 1.0 out of 5 stars Zero Information Included Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2021 Color: White. Verified Purchase There was no instruction manual included in the box with the product...there wasn’t even a packing slip in the box! Nothing except the machine & the few included bags. I talked with Amazon, and the lady gave me the manufacturer’s link to their manuals online for their products. — This product is not listed! And the “space saver” model that is listed looks different than the one pictured on Amazon (which looks like the one I received)! I’m wondering if the one I received is a “knockoff”. I spoke with Amazon again. I had ordered/received the machine, extra bags, and the extra warranty — they are all being returned/refunded. I suspect that the manufacturer’s customer service is represented in this example.” In addition, I searched on the FoodSaver site for this item — I only found one “space saver” version, and it was different from this product. I was unable to find this specific one anywhere other than on Amazon. I strongly suggest you call Amazon and talk to them about a refund or a credit — or maybe you could exchange it for another FoodSaver they sell. I suggest, though, that if you want an exchange to search for the product on the FoodSaver site first to know if it really is their product and if they can offer assistance with it.

Answer:	I did not find these to be grease proof unless I used two of them together and even then there was some bleed-through.

Answer:	The 1" is called mini so I guess you are looking for the 2".
