What I may like is not what you like... During the sleeping hours I turn my home down to 62 while others keep theirs at 68 or 72???? Answer:	(re)zips are not intended for microwave or high heat use. They cannot be used for sous vide cooking.

Answer:	I don't know if they stain. I've only had them for a few weeks. So far so good. I clean them with warm water and dish soap if necessary. Then dry them open upside down over a bottle

Answer:	No ☹️ I got lazy and put them on the top rack, they melted and warped together. The description here specifically says to hand wash them so completely my mistake. I am about to place my replacement order now!

Question:	can you use this to seal bags for sou vide cooking
Answer:	Yes it will seal the crinkly clear cello bags. The floppier bags, like sandwich bags, are the hardest bags to reseal. In any case it takes a little practice to get the right pressure and speed for each bag. If I am resealing a new bag with not much headroom, I will do a corner of the bag to get the feel before doing the actual seal.
Question:	When I press down to seal it cuts the bag, because there is a sharp point in the sloped area so how does it work
Answer:	These shipped in a box and I do not recall them being wrapped in plastic. They are small and excellent for throwing a bag of nuts or other snacks in your backpack. I have a set just for freezing banana slices for smoothies! Love these little silicone bags and they hold up well!
