Question:	How many watts has to be your microwave
Answer:	I wish I read this review before I purchased this popper! I put just one lid full of brand new popcorn (It was Black Jewel and doesn't expire till 2022) in and about two TSP of butter in the silicone lid. It started popping immediately but luckily I was standing by the microwave watching it when the microwave sparked. I stopped it, pulled out the popper and inspected it. I noticed that the square cardboard (waveguide cover) had a small burnt spot on it. Thinking that the microwave was suddenly going bad, I put a cup of water in the microwave to see if the problem would duplicate, but it was fine! So I restarted it again with the popper and within about 10 seconds it was sparking like mad and I thought I saw a flame. I immediately stopped it again and now the waveguide cover has a huge burnt spot on it. I have no idea why this is happening but the popper will have to be returned.

Answer:	The manufacturer recommends that you pop WITHOUT oil, because the oil can cause scorching. I pop without oil, using AmishCountryPopcorn baby white kernels, and I often have fewer than 5 unpopped kernels. AFTER POPPING, I transfer the popcorn into a different bowl and add butter-flavored oil and popcorn salt.

Answer:	(Directions say you can pop the unpopped kernels. I tried it and not one of them popped.) I have also burned a batch in the past. I would say that while the performance will not be affected, the burned container will affect the taste. I threw out the burned one and ordered another.

Answer:	The measurements of the bowl is 9 3/4 both width and length,The height is about 5 1/2 tall.Hope this helps,it is a big bowl so you will need a large microwave mine is a large counter top model and it does fit but it is a tight.Also be careful when using this bowl it gets real hot and microvaving popcorn in it is challenge because of this and things can burn fast.It does heat up soups and casseroles real fast and sauces do not stain the bowl even when they are burned in it.Just be real careful when you handle after items have cooked in it because you can burn yourself real easily so my advice and what I do it let it sit for a couple minutes in the micrave after is done and then pull it out carefully.I hope all this advice has helped.

Answer:	I've been using this popper for about 4 yrs. I never add oil. I pour melted butter over finished product. I sometimes heat bowl 1st on high..30 secs. My old apt had an old micro and that worked well. Now I have a new micro...just 1/3 c corn...my favorite is Trader Joe's Organic. 3mins and I listen to popping slowing down and usually done by 2:30 ish. There's always some kernals... but not much!

Answer:	Yes it does. Depending on the power of your microwave you might want to remove all popped popcorn at 2 minutes, then continue popping 1 minute at at time (removing popped corn) until done. My last spinning plate microwave took about 2 1/2 minutes to pop. My small drawer microwave takes 2 + 1 + 1 minutes.

Answer:	I pop my kernels with no oil. After it’s popped I drizzle olive oil and Maldon salt. Wonderful. I believe ghee would work. Haven’t tried it but I would rather melt the ghee and drizzle it after popped.
