Question:	Does this fit the instant pot duo plus 6 qt 9-in
Answer:	I don't know why people answer that they can't answer the questions. Is there a participation reward/prize or something that I am missing... The answer to your question is... yes but if you want to do that you don't need a steamer set. You can get a tall trivet for cooking rice above another dish in a stainless steel, glass or silicone container. What you want to look up is "pot in pot" method. There are other sets as well or you can hack your own like I did at first. Rice won't work in the steamer basket of course. But you can place a tall trivet or rack above the first pot and make rice there. With this, you can actually have up to three tiers cooking at the same time (under the trivet, in the solid pan and then in the steamer pan. As long as cooking times match between the dishes, it all works out. If all you want to do is cook rice above another dish though, you may want to look at other products. But you can always mix and match as needed. Look up pot in pot cooking. Hope this helps!

Question:	Can this be used to make rice in, with meat underneath
Answer:	7.5 to 8 inches with the handles. I found that it fit just fine in my 6Q instant pot pot, but I had to snip off the tops of the handles. Because they are too long and pressed against the pot Lid, breaking the air seal

Answer:	if height limit is an issue you should be able to fold the handles down, I do that when I use this in my Instant Pot 6 qt duo plus, handles go a little bit above the inner pot but don't interfere with closing the lid or pressure cooking. 7 1/2 across the trivet, you'll want to check the dimensions of your inner pot. I like the longer handles on this, easier to lift items out of the pot, compared to the metal one with shorter handles that came with my pressure cooker.

Answer:	Alas, we threw the box away. But the product description (scroll down) says it is. It replaced one that got damaged and looks identical. We used the old one for decades and are still alive. Of course, any product made in China may be suspect given the lack of standards about food safety. But it’s not marked anywhere on the steamer. I just checked.

Question:	What is the difference between a "quick" release and release "naturally" after cooking
Answer:	You will want to use the "quick release" for more delicate foods like fish/seafood, chicken, or egg dishes that have carry-over cooking from residual heat, and will get tough or overdone easily. Remember to stand back when quick releasing - it is quite a blast of super hot vapor. Roasts, soups, stews, and chili type dishes that are not harmed by additional cooking time can be "naturally released" (caution with any residual steam when you open valve and lid). Question:	Difference between duo and lux
Answer:	Hi there! The most basic model series we have is the LUX, which is a 6-in-1 that combines a Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker, Rice Cooker, Steamer, Saute Pan, and Warmer. It is available in 3 quart (LUX Mini), 6 quart (LUX60 V3), and 8 quart (LUX80) sizes. Please note that this model only operates on High pressure-- every other model has both High AND Low pressure settings. The DUO is a 7-in-1 that does everything that the LUX does, plus it has a Yogurt Maker incorporated. As mentioned, it and every pot following will have the ability to cook at either High or Low pressure settings. The DUO series is available in 3 quart (DUO Mini), 6 quart (DUO60 V3), and 8 quart (DUO80 V2) sizes.
Question:	Would this completely replace my crock pot and stove top pressure cooker? does it work well as a slow cooker
Answer:	It can replace both of those items, but I wouldn't do that. Slow cookers are versatile in other ways than electric pressure cookers. Sure, you can't cook beans right but you can slow cook the heck out of other things. Made chicken thighs and veggies TONIGHT in 20 minutes (5 minutes to pressurize, 5 to pressure cook, and 10 to perform a natural pressure release) without having to lift a finger. There's something to be said for that.
Question:	What is the smallest amount of rice it will cook
Answer:	Hello! The LUX60 needs at least 1 cup of water to work correctly. If you do a 1-1 ratio for your rice, you can do a minimum of 1 cup of rice.
