Answer:	It is about 3 1/2” deep. I use it for one person meals.

Answer:	Haven't measured it since it is coiled and fastened to be compact on kitchen counter. Would guess 2-3 feet. I wouldn't recommend an extension cord because when cords are short they are meant to be plugged directly into the electrical outlet.

Question:	Is the slow cooker setting high or low? Most recipes say 4-6 hours for high and 8-10 hours for low. Does it turn off automatically
Answer:	U.S 120 volt plug only. If you what to use in UK used the plug adapter it will burn out the unit. You do need the step down transformer from 240v to 120v with 5 amp. Search Amazon I find this "BESTEK Universal Travel Adapter 220V to 110V Voltage Converter with 6A 4-Port USB Charging and UK/AU/US/EU Worldwide Plug ". I am not working for Bestek just try to help.

Answer:	Had since 2016, and 1 small scratch on bottom, but the rim is more scratched. Not sure how that happened as we normally also are careful in what we use to wash and use rice scrapper.

Answer:	No, but you can connect it to a timer. Briefly turn on the power, press one of the rice cooking buttons, and turn the power off again. When your timer turns on the power again, the rice will cook as expected.

Answer:	The slow cooker function is high and runs around 165+ F. The "keep warm" function is low and is 145ish F degrees.

Answer:	Hi Judy - Yes this does have a beeper. When the rice is done it beeps on and off for about 5-6 seconds and automatically switches to keep warm. Once you're done you can press the power button and it toggles off so no need to unplug.
Question:	Does the lid lock while the food is cooking, or can you add new ingredients/spices halfway through
Answer:	You do not want the lid to be removable because that would require an extra (third) hand for operating the devise; and a clean and safe place to set down a removed lid. It is sufficient for the pot alone (and steamer tray) to be removable.
Question:	Can you cook noodles in it
Answer:	I have the 8-cup one and the brown rice setting cooks quinoa perfectly! You have to soak it first (minimum 6 hours) but it comes out fully cooked, light and fluffy! I just purchased the larger 20-cup cooker (the 8-cup doesn't hold enough veggies for me) and am sure the brown rice setting on the larger cooker will make quinoa perfectly as well.

Question:	What is the minimum amount,can it cook just one cup of rice (two cooked) ? I like the larger steamer size
Answer:	Yes, one cup of rice is fine. We might be able to cook only half of a cup but honestly I never tried it my self. The other answers are pretty much accurate. We can cook up to 6 cups and the quality is great, especially for the price. Whenever it's done cooking, make sure you either keep using the "keep warm" feature or just stir the rice up at the beginning so it wont' stick to the bottom and surrounding area of the cooking container. Question:	Has anyone had a problem with the cooked rice getting dry after just a couple hours on "Keep Warm"? And if so, how did you deal with this problem
Answer:	I would suggest only using that feature for less than an hour. Frankly we used a rice cooker without that feature and we remove the cooking bucket from the unit as soon as possible and simply allow the heat of the metal keep the rice warm.The problem should be obvious to you. to keep ANYTHING warm means you are going to evaporate water from it, right? Next, if you try to add a little water, which you pretty much HAVE to do to keep it moist, means that the rice is absorbing water after the cook, and is becoming softer.It's a neat gimmick feature, but I wouldn't use it. I'd simply cook the rice closer to when I'm going to eat.
Question:	Recently lot of steam coming out of the hole in the lid, cooker surroundings becoming very messy. Any ideas how to address this issue? Thanks
Answer:	lots of steam does come out of the steam hole and it is supposed to do that. It does make a mess so we drape a thin tea towel - not folded over - across the top of the steamer and over the hole. While the towel does get damp, the mess is contained. The thinnest of the towel still allows for the steam to escape while keeping the surroundings relatively dry. Hope that helps.

Answer:	I used it to cook oatmeal but you can cook rice in the microwave with it too.
Question:	Is it 110 or 220 volts
Answer:	You can cook it with or without the lid on although if you have a high wattage microwave, it may cause the cereal to spill over. Our microwave is low wattage and I used it with the lid on with no problems.
Question:	Is this available in 220 voltage
Answer:	This item was specifically designed and tested for hot cereals. We would not recommend this item be used as a popcorn popper.
Question:	What are the dimensions of this machine
Answer:	Don't know how many oz. It does hold a lot. I put all kinds of stuff in it. Like leftovers for work. Spaghetti, salads. This bowl is one of my favorites. I highly recommend it. I have 3. Still using my first one I have had for 2 years. Back then it was only like $8. Now, it's like $15. It is 2 1/4" deep and 51/2 " in diameter on the inside.

White Rice Setting

Cook perfectly fluffy white rice for a delicious main or side dish, or add sushi seasoning for effortless sushi at home.

Note: Our water level line is set by the ratio of rice to water 1:1. If you cook the rice at this ratio, it will be a little bit hard. You can add a little more water (1:1.2), the rice will become more fluffy.

Brown Rice Setting(Mixed)

This is a menu setting designed to cook delicious brown rice. In order to cook hard rice bran and the rice inside, preheating time is extended for better absorption of water, and is cooked at a lower temperature to allow the rice to cook longer without becoming mushy.

Porridge/Soup

Do not exceed the indicated in the inner pot, as this may cause the multicooker to overflow. Use the Porridge/Soup setting to cook fluffy porridge/soup. Cooking temperature is slightly lower than regular white rice, to be cooked longer for soft texture. Also you can cook cream soup with the right amount of water.
