Answer:	Bagel setting toasts on both sides. I usually also push defrost at the same time. The result is usually, as I like it or a little less so. If needed I push it down (using 'regular) and try to recall before it is too burned:-) Since I toast many different things in the toaster I prefer using a single setting and adjusting my toasting manually. This sometimes means a 2nd cycle/button push. NO toaster will do all the variations I use with a single setting. This one does a decent job and is cute, small, and cheap.

Answer:	Both the box and the label on the bottom of the toaster indicate 825 watts.
Question:	How do you turn off the bagel setting? I turned it on once for bagels and now I cannot get it to turn off. I’ve checked the manual, can’t find it
Answer:	When I pushed the Bagel button, all I had to do was push Cancel to turn it off and the toaster returned to the regular setting. Same with the Defrost button.

Answer:	If you use the guide they give you. You select the number to use I use 3. It’s perfect every time. If it changes. It’s time to get crumbs out of the bottom. The crumb catcher should be cleaned but that’s one I forget to do. I used it every morning. I love my Red Toaster.

Answer:	It does not slide but is on a hinge.
Question:	If the toaster is not plugged in, will the lever stay down? basically what i want to know is: if i forget to plug in the toaster, will it let me know
Answer:	I am able to push the lever down and it stays down even though the slots are empty if the toaster is plugged in. I am unable to get the lever to stay down if the slots are empty but the toaster is not plugged in. So it lets you know that something is wrong. Thank you as I didn't know this was a feature that was present and may help me know why it won't work. I have enjoyed the bagel function and it has been really enjoyable!

Answer:	Not sure where it is made, but wouldn’t recommend. Toaster broke after 6 months. Warranty is 1 year but customer service denied it was still covered. After a few calls and emails they finally agreed to replace the toaster but wanted $12.50 for shipping. There are better toasters.

Anti-sticking Function Making Toast More Convenient

7 Browning Shade Settings

Answer:	This Proctor Silex toaster is a piece of junk. Yes, mine got hot and also did not work properly. I threw it out and bought something else.

Answer:	8.75" x 5.5" x 6.25" ; slot is 1.125" x 4.75" x aprox 4" tall. I bought this toaster because of its small size, but it is so small that it doesn't hold very large slices of bread.

Answer:	Silly question. Why would you put slices of bread on it? But I can say it takes only small slices of bread. I returned it because the slots were too short for the wheat bread I like.

Answer:	You can toast two pieces of bread at a time, but stacking bread on top of the toaster I have not done yet. Will have to try and see how many I can take! =

If you need to plug into a wall socket at the opposite end of the Pop-up lever (By the crumb tray) you simply route the cord underneath the toaster and insert the cord into (2) clips in the base. This will leave you with approximately 22" of cord to reach an outlet.
