Answer:	Just a little slower than my 30 year old 2-slot toaster. Settings are 1~7 where 1=1:40 minutes/ light color, barely soft crusted & 7=6:00 minutes/ dark color, hard crust. The left=Bagel & right=Frozen buttons appear to change the temperature setting. It doesn't do much on a low dial setting but using the highest "7" will make a piece of sliced bread a burnt brick. (I timed both at high/low settings and the time was almost identical.) The only downside is the crumb cleanup trays "pop down" not "slide out". It makes cleaning out crumbs without making a mess a bit of a challenge (open them over your wastebasket/sink). But then, I have to go back several generations of my (long gone) old toasters to have one that was a slide out tray style. p.s. The "Manual" link on this page is of the wrong model(s). Question:	Hinged crumb tray won't stay latched? Help
Answer:	The sides are thick plastic kind of like a bake a light material, I didn’t notice it getting overly hot I was able to pick it up by the sides and slide it over when it was toasting bread. I was Unfamiliar with this brand but so far I’ve been pleased with his performance.

Answer:	Somebody in China. Lots of different brands on Amazon. Look close, all the same. Probably not a bad design, just poorly executed/manufactured. Toasts very unevenly, look at the heating elements with power on, the problem is obvious. Typical cheap stuff.
Question:	can you stop the toasting before the time is up? I assume by forcing the plastic lever up to do so will break it after awhile
