Answer:	You don't really need to "clean" it as the entire interior is nonstick, just take a dry paper towel and brush off anything that sticks. I'd take a damp soapy rag to the outside if needed, but never get it really wet or put it into water. Answer:	It has two coils toward the bottom, one on each side, that toast the bread. I've had mine a few weeks and it works great. We love it.

Answer:	There are 2 panes of glass. The outer one remains cool to the touch. The inner one has a latch on the bottom, can be removed and cleaned that way. However, after owning this for about 3 months now, the inner window is still clean in mine.

Answer:	Dear Palmiter, Sorry not to reply sooner. I got this toaster foremost because I needed one. I picked this one for several reasons. The price is very good. It has a very narrow, sleek profile so it has a small footprint on my countertop. (The small footprint is important to me. I was very disappointed to discover that so few companies make new toasters with this feature anymore. There were a lot more choices when I bought my previous toaster about 10 years ago.) This one has a single extra long and extra wide slot that handles artisan breads plus other weirder things I like to reheat - like egg rolls, pizza slices, etc.. It has a window to see if something is burning, it has a cool touch surface, it is easy to clean, and it has the extra pop-up device to raise smaller pieces high enough to get them out safely. It also came in red (although the red is more of an orange red, not a true apple red.) I liked it so much after trying it out, that I bought another one and have set it back for when this one finally dies. The only down side is that sometimes I have to flip some breads during toasting to get even browning. (The best toaster I've ever seen for making the "perfect" toast is a $10.00 Proctor Silex from a "dollar" store that I got for my daughter's first apartment in 2012. It browns perfectly, but only has the 2 narrow slots and tips over easily.) Hope this helps.

Answer:	So it really depends on your configuration of your condo. Listen 24,000 btus is allot of cooling power. You could always use a cheap $10 wallmart floor fan to push cool air to the back bedrooms....i did just that on another installation of this same unit in a separate house. The recirc system was just for a professional looking install but you can do the same thing with a cheap $10 wallmart fan. I really like these units as they are so efficient and quiet. The air recirc system i designed has nothing to do with this unit as its not wired into it or connected to it at all. All my recirc unit does is a fan register sucking cold air near where the inside blower is installed and it blows the cooled air thorugh the instulated duct crawl space in the roof and blows it back between the bedrooms as the cool air would have to travel from one wall the full length of the living room then hang a right turn in a hllway then another sharp right turn into another hallway then into the most distant bedroom......so thats allot to ask of one ca blower blowing cool air essentially in a U turn . But my recirc system solved that problem handily. by first blowing cooled air inbetween the 2 bedrooms then the air slowly moves the warmed air back into the living room to be cooled by this single unit blower and recirculated again. I wasnt too impressed with the heating capacity of this in the winter as a heat pump as with most heat pumps your essentially air conditioning the outside when its snowing out so there isnt much heat out there then your pulling whatever heat from outside back inside to warm you up so the colder it is outside the more this unit has to work to pump heat inside.......but with that said it works great when the temps outside are like in the 50's and 60's and you just want to take the chill off the air in the mornings. If its in the single digits or low teens outside.....your going to need a jacket in your house just saying or another heat source. No heat pump out there will keep you warm under those conditions

I always darkly toast a few 'throw away' slices of bread when first getting a new toaster--then toast the ones planned to eat. The toast should have no metallic or plastic taste to it then and the appliance's odor should fade to nothing within a weeks daily use or so. If not, definitely return it to manufacturers!!
Question:	On the bagel setting it only toasts one side? I used to take this for granted until I purchased a Cuisinart which does not
Answer:	Agreed. Wasted time and money researching a good toaster that only toasts one side when bagel setting is selected. It toasts both side equally when on TOAST setting and toasts both side equally when on BAGEL setting. Bagel setting reduces darkness of toast by approximately 1/2 setting. Piece of crap if looking to toast bagels as I was. I have no idea why a bagel setting would toast both sides - pointless and deceptive marketing. Anyone know of a toaster that does a good job of toasting only one side of bagels, English muffins, etc.?
