Answer:	The only example I have is Thomas" English muffins, the smaller piece I have to get out using my bamboo toaster "tweezers'.

Question:	How do you know if the bagel button is on or off? There is no light and it doesnt get pushed in and out
Answer:	The buttons have to be turned on each time after you push down the lever, they click slightly when pushed. When the toast pops up or you hit the cancel button, it cancels all other buttons and you start over with the next time you toast. I haven't even used it yet, just got it today but I was interested to figure it out because of this question. The instructions do tell you that the buttons cancel out with the cancel button. Read your instuctions again.

Answer:	It has decent specs, but it runs a little hot. The case is also a little basic, I recommend adding some some custom lighting. So far I've only played "I am Bread" on it, but it worked fine. The dual DVD+R burners are pretty nifty too; I don't know what speed they are, but it burns them pretty fast.

Question:	My toaster is emitting a smell like burning plastic. I can't determine source. Anyone else have this issue
Answer:	Typical of many small appliances, when brand new they emit an odor as result of dust, etc burning off the coils... This smell can be plastic-like and is unpleasant but not generally harmful. I always darkly toast a few 'throw away' slices of bread when first getting a new toaster--then toast the ones planned to eat. The toast should have no metallic or plastic taste to it then and the appliance's odor should fade to nothing within a weeks daily use or so. If not, definitely return it to manufacturers!!

Answer:	Agreed. Wasted time and money researching a good toaster that only toasts one side when bagel setting is selected. It toasts both side equally when on TOAST setting and toasts both side equally when on BAGEL setting. Bagel setting reduces darkness of toast by approximately 1/2 setting. Piece of crap if looking to toast bagels as I was. I have no idea why a bagel setting would toast both sides - pointless and deceptive marketing. Anyone know of a toaster that does a good job of toasting only one side of bagels, English muffins, etc.?

Answer:	Bagel setting toasts on both sides. I usually also push defrost at the same time. The result is usually, as I like it or a little less so. If needed I push it down (using 'regular) and try to recall before it is too burned:-) Since I toast many different things in the toaster I prefer using a single setting and adjusting my toasting manually. This sometimes means a 2nd cycle/button push. NO toaster will do all the variations I use with a single setting. This one does a decent job and is cute, small, and cheap.

Answer:	It does not slide but is on a hinge.

Answer:	I am able to push the lever down and it stays down even though the slots are empty if the toaster is plugged in. I am unable to get the lever to stay down if the slots are empty but the toaster is not plugged in. So it lets you know that something is wrong. Thank you as I didn't know this was a feature that was present and may help me know why it won't work. I have enjoyed the bagel function and it has been really enjoyable!

Answer:	Not sure where it is made, but wouldn’t recommend. Toaster broke after 6 months. Warranty is 1 year but customer service denied it was still covered. After a few calls and emails they finally agreed to replace the toaster but wanted $12.50 for shipping. There are better toasters.

Answer:	I just cracked the window a bit so i don't know if the car door will close too tight on the cord.. it works but it is annoying sound- beep..beep..so i turned up the radio to drown out the noise. Remember you are dealing with an animal (deer) so nothing is 100% foolproof to work. I never hit a deer with the device in use though.

Answer:	I never tried ciabatta buns in it, but my comment applies regardless of what you put into the toaster. I'd advise to not put anything in it. I returned mine almost immediately. I'm still amazed that Hamilton Beach put it's name on a cheap junky little toaster. I have been quite pleased with many of their products. Answer:	Yes it does but I had very bad result with the toaster. It toasted inconsistently no matter what darkness setting it was on. I even burnt our toast on the lightest setting and other times one side would toast really dark and the other half of that same side it was barely toasted at all. I bought this toaster because Amazon had it as the number one selling toaster. Maybe mine was defective. After about 2 months of frustration of having to watch my bread when it was toasting I went out and bought a Cuisinart toaster and the bread comes out toasted perfectly every time.
