Answer:	The slots are 1.5" X 5.75". This is exactly why I bought this toaster. Every other toaster I've measured in stores have slots that are only 5.5" long and that's not long enough for the rye and whole grain bread that I buy. In my old toaster I would have to cut the toast in half and toast each half separately. This is the ONLY toaster I've found that my bread fits into without having to cut it or stuff it in. Answer:	Dubstep is correct. The top gets sides get warm and the ends mostly remain cool. I don’t see this as a hazard as long as you don’t touch the top of the toaster while it’s on or shortly therafter.

Answer:	Yes, there is a bagel setting that will only toast one side of each slice. I like my bagels toasted on both sides, so I do not use the bagel setting, but I have tested it out. This is a good toaster, I really like it's look and functionality.
Question:	Does cord wrap around the bottom of the toaster for easy storage
Answer:	Yes, there are four hooks recessed on the bottom of the base that are designed for the cord to wrap around. I’ve wrapped the cord around the hooks once which leaves a nice 9” tail to plug into an outlet above the counter. I dislike having loose cords flopping around and place high value on this feature.
