Answer:	I do not own the 8006. I did buy the NC800 HDS and I am very satisfied with its operation and results. An excellent juicer.

Answer:	I had a 8006 before I upgraded and I would say it's not worth it. The big difference I noticed was that I didn't have to cut cukes into four pieces lengthwise anymore, half would suffice. Since I juiced spinach everyday for the past 3 weeks on this machine and for 1 year on my old 8006 I noticed that juicing was quicker but if I still had my 8006 at the time of purchase I wouldn't have bothered with the NC800. If you have money to burn I then buy it, it's a nice enough upgrade but if you are counting pennies, don't get it.

Answer:	I just got off a half hour conversation with a really nice lady at Omega, and I had the same question. The NC800 and NC900 are identical, by the way - the only difference is the color. The differences between the NC800/900 and the 8006 is the larger chute and adjustible end-cap. That adjustible end-cap lets you fin Omee tune the amount of pulp in your juice. The lady at Omega said some people can find there's a learning curve to using the end-cap. I just ordered the NC800 because of the wider chute. By the way, the J8004 and J8006 are identical machines, just different colors: J8004 is white, J8006 is chrome COLORED (not chrome metal). The NC8004 is cheaper because it takes an extra step to apply the chrome color.

Answer:	I specifically got this juicer for celery juice. I drink it every morning and got so tired of my centrifugal juicer and the massive cleanup for one juice. Question:	Is the screen fully lined with stainless steel, or is it still partially plastic inside
Answer:	I haven't tried it. The auger is pretty tough but I cant see how juice will be extracted from frozen material and would imagine pulpy fruits like strawberries and the like will simply get mushed and not juiced. Answer:	It juices all of those items excellently. I juiced pineapple, greens, carrots and beet the other day. One of the videos about juicing I watched on YouTube recommended this juicer as the best for fruit. I have found that for best results, the trick is to alternate items when juicing.
Question:	Do both (silver, metallic) come with a mesh screen that fits over the juice catcher? (see difference in product photos
Answer:	This is the first masticating juicer I have had, so in comparison to the centrifugal ones I previously own -its great. With beets you will definitely get more juice, however with the cabbage I would say its about average. If you havent already I recommend you check youtube for comparisons. There are also some great tips on how to get the most from vegetables such as cabbage, kale and spinach.
Question:	What´s the difference between omega nc1000hds and the other omega juicers
Answer:	Yes and no. It is quick to pull apart and rinse everything. The screen takes a while to scrub depending on your personal threshold for 'clean enough' as invariably the screen holes will start to plug with food fibers and can take a lot of effort to clear (the included brush does not cut it), but that probably varies depending on what items you juice. I juice every morning and clean the juicer immediately with hot water, soap and a good amount of elbow grease to make sure all parts are clean. Despite that diligence, the problem I found is there are many nooks and crannies for food particles to accumulate despite vigorous washing. Every so often I need to do a 'deep clean' and disassemble more than usual to remove and/or prevent mold building up. This includes removing the yellow silicone wipers from the Auto Cleaner, the center silicone gasket and the gear at the bottom of main bowl (Philips screw driver required). Removal is fairly straight forward but is not covered in the manual. It is not fun to find black gunk hidden in your supposedly clean juicer. Tip: If you do find a mold buildup on the silicone parts, you can soak them in a strong bleach solution to remove. Bottom line, I like the juicing capabilities a lot, but the amount of effort to keep it clean is greater than with a horizontal juicer (like the Omega J8006) that has many fewer parts in contact with the food and less places for crud to build up.

Our horizontal masticating juicers excel at celery. They will all process celery about the same. The celery attachment for the MM900HDS makes it a better unit than the J8006, J8007, and J8008 it is modeled after. The NC Series is a more elite series than the J8006, J8007, J8008, and MM900. The biggest difference is when comparing the MM900HDS to any of our J8006, J8007, or J8008 Models. The MM900HDS has a new "celery attachment" that helps the unit extract just a bit more juice out of celery and other firm items. The J800x series still do a very good job. The J800x series are all Nutrition Centers. Meaning, they have parts that allow them to make nutter butters, frozen desserts, etc. The MM900HDS is for juice only. These parts are not included. The following NC Series all share most of the same common parts. So, the juicing ability of each is exactly the same. The main difference is the motor housing material and/or finish. The juicing screen, auger, drum, etc is the same on these models. Question:	How well does this juicer handle celery bunches
Answer:	The juicer is very high powered. The juicer needs to be cleaned after the pitcher provided is full. I juice celery bunches with great success.
Question:	I was using this product for a week. One day juicing my vegetables, then all of a sudden the machine stop working. What could possibly be wrong
Answer:	Mine stopped working after a few uses. The motor was loud and eventually smoke appeared. I was juicing celery and lemon. Can I get a replacement or refund if the box has been thrown away?
Question:	How do i take off the stainless steel grinding basket
Answer:	Do not try to pull up the grinding basket. Feel around and pull up the black assembly that basket sits in gently. Practice a few times and it will become easier.
Question:	Are you able to juice without peeling and cutting the fruits and vegetables
Answer:	I don't peel anything but the oranges because the instructions clearly say that the thicker skins could damage the juicer. The only time I cut something up is if it's too big to go into the feeding area. Otherwise I don't do any extra prep.
