Question:	How much ice cream can be made at once
Answer:	I actually prefer to use it "hands-on." For milk shakes especially I want a thick consistency, meaning it takes a lot of moving and "slushing" around the mixing cup. The trigger that starts the mixer when you place the cup onto the stand is plenty large and well built so that you have lots of ability to manually mix your drink. For other things (protein mixes, omelet mix, batter) it would do fine just snapped in hands-free. And, as an overall report - this mixer is really great. The kids love it when they see me getting it out.
