Answer:	Never had mine boil over. Only use the amount of water recommended. The instructions are almost foolproof, and even if you're using the markings on the bowl instead of the measuring cup, the rice still comes out nice.

Answer:	Yes. You can cook 1 or 2 cups of raw rice. You can even cook 0.5 cup of raw rice, but when you have such, the water lever is very hard to control and it has to be evenly distributed.

Answer:	I bought it since the pot is stainless steel and it has a glass cover. Unfortunately The stainless steel isnt the best quality as I observed some nicks and peels after the first couple of times using it.
Question:	Is any one checked the magnetic property of the stainless steel pot? Want to know whether Magnet gets attached to it
Answer:	The rice cooker I purchased was a 20 cup cooked and not a 10 cup. No the pot is not 100 per cent stainless steel. Magnet has a slight pull to it, at that price I wouldn’t expect to to be 100 per cent stainless. Better than eating out of an aluminum pot.

Question:	Does it shut off automatically
Answer:	Yes. There is a thermostatic control in the form of a rotary switch. Simply turn this control clockwise to any given point . The water will begin to heat and when it reaches the set temperature , it will turn off, automatically. However, there are no numeric markings on this control. So you will have to establish the temperature that you want by trial and error until you have enough experience to know where you want to set it to get the temperature of the water that you want. If you let the water stand with unit plugged in , when the water cools, the power will come back on again and energize the heater coil. When it reaches the set temperature, it will turn off.Jim

Question:	What if all the water evaporates but it has not reached the shut-off temperature? I would like to use it for constant hot water, or constant humidity
Answer:	My original answer (shown below) is not correct. I got to thinking about it after I wrote that and decided to test the unit. Yes, it has an adjustable thermostat (non calibrated) and will heat to the adjusted point on the temperature control and it will shut off. However, IF THE LIQUID IS ALLOWED TO COOL, IT WILL REHEAT TO THE ORIGINAL ADJUSTED TEMPERATURE. BUT, THE UNIT DOES NOT TURN BACK ON UNTIL A MUCH LOWER TEMPERATURE IS REACHED. I set it to boil. It turned olff at 212 deg. and it did not turn on again until 155 deg. later. That's a big gap so it will not hold anything close to a constant temperature. The thermostat has a very wide overshoot/undershoot. It's a cheap, consumer unit with a big variance in the temperature adjustment. That's probably why there are no actual temperature numbers shown on the control dial.JimThis is not a smart machine. It has no logic built into it. It will continue to try to heat the water even if it's not there to the preset temperature that you chose. I believe that it would self-destruct. I cannot state that with certainty, however, because I have never tried that before. I do know that it cannot be used in the manner that you wanted to - it will not keep a constant temperature. Once it reaches the set temperature it will shut off, completely and the contents will cool all the way back down to room temperature. You would have to restart it in order to get the liquid out again. Jim

Answer:	For safety reason, if you did not perfectly match the indicator between body and base, it will stop working. Please check the indicators ( there is a small triangle on the body, and one at base) let us know if problem solved after matching this. Thanks!
