If you are going to fry any type of sea food like fish or shrimp you should change the oil before you use the fryer next time. if you fry other items other than seafood you can leave the oil in the fryer. You should definitely use peanut oil instead of canola oil or any other cooking oil. Peanut oil fry's your food better and it does not leave your food greasy taste. You can reuse you oil 3-4 times before changing the oil and cleaning your fryer. I love my little fryer it works great. I hope this is helpful to you and happy frying. Just remember that hot oil and water don't mix so when you're going to fry something make sure that you lower your basket of food real slow so the hot oil doesn't overflow and cause a fire.Bob

Answer:	It can fry quite a bit at once but you won't be able to fry 4lbs of chicken and 1lb of potatoes at once, but it holds a lot. I've cooked chicken breasts in it and depending on size you can get 4-6 in at once in the big frying basket. 1 lb of potatoes would go in the big basket just fine though.

Answer:	Both frothers produce great steam milk and froth. The Capresso design of a separate pitcher met my needs. The Nespresso is designed as one unit and does not allow for a larger capacity of milk.

Answer:	It is 110v but the Hostess on sold in the UK is 220. I purchased this for us in Europe and the other for the US. Be warned that they will not last more then 6 months as the teflon will begin to peel and probably not safe to use.. if it is teflon..

I can come home after my ten hour day, pour a cup of the morning’s coffee and it is Luke warm and doesn’t taste like mud. If I put it in the microwave for twenty seconds it’s perfect. Mind you, I do use cream in my coffee. I also use Starbucks coffee. I have had several high end coffee makers through the years and so far I like this one the best and not just for the coffee it makes but the ease of putting in the grounds and the water and not having to pull the unit out from under the cabinet, lifting the lid and pouring in the water. Now, if the life of this coffee maker out weighs the cost of it, I will be ecstatic. Oh, one more thing, it looks awesome on my counter. Question:	How Do you change the oil form the fryer
Answer:	These knives are made with the same formula steel as found in their higher end German made lines. It includes chromium for corrosion resistance, but all knives, even stainless steel knives, will contain carbon. Carbon can rust, but carbon is also what gives knife steel the ability to take and hold a sharp edge. You cannot make a sharp knife without it. This is also what happens to give steel knives magnetic properties and is also why all fine cutlery (even stainless steel knives) is recommended to be hand washed. Dishwashers leave knives wet for too long and the high heat can react with the carbon in the blades. If you are looking for a totally rust-proof blade, then you would be looking more at flatware type butter knives that are not intended to cut well, but rather be stain resistant so they can be put into the dishwasher.

Question:	where to get extra oil filters for Secura 4.2L/17 cup
Answer:	The fryer does not come with any oil filters. I comes with one set of installed carbon filters and also one extra set so that when you have the lid on, all vapors pass through the carbon and really helps with any smell in the kitchen. I purchased the oil filter that Amazon usually shows that would be a good accessory for the fryer. It does let small particles pass through but so far they have not affected anything. The next time I see a restaurant supply store I think I will check out their filters. The one that Amazon recommends is certainly better than nothing and only costs around $10.
Question:	Is there a dispenser for the removal of the oil, or is it removed the old fashioned way
Answer:	There is not a dispenser. You have to pour it out

Answer:	Not that I remember. I have used a fryer before, so I would likely have tossed it if it did. Pretty simple operation. Fill with oil to max fill line, plug it in, turn heat to highest setting, turn timer on, allow to heat up, lower food into oil and put the lid on. Check food every few minutes to see if done.

Answer:	The electric kettle is made with glass while the inner lid and base are made of food-grade 304 stainless steel. All the water contact surfaces are constructed of food grade material and heat-resistant.
Question:	how is the clean up. can u take the container that hold the oit out to strain and store left over oit
Answer:	I found when I just use tapwater, that the bottom of the kettle was turning white from calcium deposits. I would suggest that you use either distilled water, or purified water and see if that makes a difference. First of all though you need to clean that black stuff off by boiling some vinegar with a little water in the kettle and then scraping it off with a scrubby.
