Answer:	The cooker does come with the basket that can be used for turkey, chicken, roasts, etc. The other accessories are for more specialty items (such as wings or ribs), which some people may not want to cook. Why increase the price to include all accessories, when many people don't even want them. The price of the cooker (when we bought it) was (in our opinion), very reasonable.

Answer:	The main difference is the design of the outer body and the inclusion of a meat thermometer with this new Big Easy.

Answer:	I cooked a 16 lb turkey for Thanksgiving and it was perfectly cooked in 2 1/2 hrs. I absolutely love this cooker. Tri-tip and ribs turned out great!
Question:	What happens if it starts to rain
Answer:	That's a legitimate question. There is no solid cover like a standard gas grill, only a mesh cover but that cannot be used the entire time due to potential burning and it won't prevent rain from hitting your food. If you don't have a covered porch or other safe place to put this outdoors during rain you probably can't use it. Hopefully it won't rain on Thanksgiving this year!

Question:	The easy out bunk bed basket is pictured with the additional items. Does this actually come with the set
Answer:	The basket does not come with the package. Also this accessory package is not really for the SRG. The leg racks are too small but you can make them work if you don't mind being creative (though Char-broil does have leg racks for the SRG). I contacted Char-Broil and they do not have a half basket for the SRG so keep that in mind as well.
Question:	Are there two different size accessory kits? My bunk bed rack and the drum stick rack need to be bigger to fit
Answer:	The two racks fit inside the basket and are a smaller diameter. The tangs and hooks on the drumstick racks sit on any level on the basket. The bunk rack sits inside and the handles hook any of the sides. It is a little tricky to do.
Question:	Will this work with the butterball grease less fryer
Answer:	This Accessory Kit is designed for the Char-Broil Big Easy. We are unable to confirm if it will work with models created by any other manufacturers.

Question:	Is it easy to clean
Answer:	Yes it is very easy to clean. The reservoir alone with the heating element lifts out of the unit, that makes it a snape clean.
Question:	The oil filter it self, does it need to be replaced or cleaned
Answer:	The filter is a built in wire mesh type and doesn't need to be replaced as far as I can tell. The only part that may need to be replaced at some point is the rubber seal around it. Hope that helps. I've been using mine for a few months and absolutely love it. The best part of this fryer is the filter system and how you can drain your oil and store it in the plastic container until you need it again. It makes for cleaning and replacing the oil a breeze.
Question:	Can you leave the plastic oil container in while frying
Answer:	Yes - The 'fry" switch keeps the hot oil separated from the plastic oil storage container while frying. Once the oil has cooled, the switch is turned to drain and it flows into the storage container.

Answer:	Big Ron,I've used it 8x already and probably could maybe squeeze a couple more out. But, I think 8-10 is a good estimate depending on the type of foods your cooking. I've used it to cook meat, desserts, ect... in all the same cycle of oil.

Answer:	I fit a whole 6lb chicken in with no problem, sort of diagonal, breast side down for 1hr @350, then turned over for 15min. The wings only stuck up a little, & they were no problem to push down as I closed the basket. When done, the shrinkage took care of that issue when opening. Best chicken I ever ate. Much better than oven roasted. Crispy skin on the outside, & tender & juicy on the inside with no dried out sections or blood near the bone.

Answer:	There is no convenient spout to drain the oil. In fact you first have to remove the immersion heating assembly by lifting it up and out, then lift out the removable pot containing the oil from the outer housing to be able to pour the oil out.
Question:	Can the fryer be used for doughnuts that need to be fryed in lard
Answer:	I would disagree. I've used solid fats in every deep fryer I've ever owned (both lard and shortening). After they melt, they're synonymous with oil. Cleaning the unit after it has cooled is a different matter, but the solution is simply to pour the liquified fat into a separate container before it solidifies.

Question:	where to get extra oil filters for Secura 4.2L/17 cup
Answer:	The fryer does not come with any oil filters. I comes with one set of installed carbon filters and also one extra set so that when you have the lid on, all vapors pass through the carbon and really helps with any smell in the kitchen. I purchased the oil filter that Amazon usually shows that would be a good accessory for the fryer. It does let small particles pass through but so far they have not affected anything. The next time I see a restaurant supply store I think I will check out their filters. The one that Amazon recommends is certainly better than nothing and only costs around $10.

Answer:	When the unit is heating up it is too hot to touch, but that's completely understandable since it works so well. I heat it up, use it, then let it cool down before putting the top cover on before I put it away for storage. Again, this is the best kitchen appliance I have ever used!

Answer:	It is significantly bigger! I own both and usually use the GranPappy unless cooking for just myself. I fry a lot of fish and it is much quicker to fry up a batch using the GanPappy. It does not take that much more oil (20%)...
