Answer:	No. It did not come with a clamp. It has some rubber stoppers on the bottom to prevent from moving around on the counter top.

Answer:	It is advisable in the instruction manual to use only for it's intended use. Clay is much harder than dough and in some cases can be much thicker. Some mechanical parts inside are plastic and with enough strain may cause damage. Don't use with clay!
