Answer:	Did you mean the 9641/96 and the 9641/99? I think they're the same, except the 99 comes with a cookbook. Either way, they are both phenomenal and have really changed the way I cook. Get either and you'll be happy.

Answer:	Yes, there are two layers. There is an insert below the basket that channels grease and drippings into another similar looking 'star' chamber below it. Both are removable as is the entire basket holder. It's sometimes difficult to get theses 'star' plates out. The slits in the top plate are very narrow. I don't think this particular model has an 'earlier' version. It's relatively new - hard to find 8½ inch pans at this point.

Answer:	Used my xl tonight air frying 8 chicken drum sticks. Set to 400 degrees and set for 10 minutes. After turn over legs and give it another 10 minutes. Perfect. I seasoned them with salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika.

Answer:	Yes, Amazon sells them Just do a search for "air fryer accessories" then pay attention to the size of air fryer it fits. One set is basically for the 3.7 QT but would still work in the 5.3 or larger. It would just be smaller where the ones made for the 5.3-5.8 would be too large for the 3.7QT fryers. When I upgrade to the larger unit, I will still be able to use the extra accessories that I've already bought.
Question:	My powerfryer xl came with a basket divider with four rubber stops on the side (each corner) do i leave rubber stops them on when i cook
Answer:	12?29/18 I called the company. The plate is "basket divider" and you leave tabs on and they fit into slots on sides of fryer basket. Cook different foods on each side of basket at same time this way. They could have included this info in packaging and saved everyone stress.

Answer:	It's definitely not greasy at all, but it does get "crisped".I use mine a lot for vegetables. I rub olive oil on them and some salt and pepper. Coconut shrimp is awesome and the pork chops are great! Just don't over lap any meat in it. I love mine.So I guess to answer your question.... It really doesn't taste deep fried unless you have already put some oil on things (as I do my veggies). I cook on high in it a lot for things I want "crisped".It is much faster than conventional ovens (5 minutes on my pork chops and they were juicy inside and just crisp on the outside).

Answer:	I haven't personally cooked a whole chicken but I have cooked the deconstructed parts of a whole chicken in ours. I have no doubt it could but if I did I would could it breast side down .

Answer:	The base tray, if you block the basket net it will not allow proper air flow.

Question:	What can an airfryer do that an oven can't? Seems like these are glorified counter-top ovens
Answer:	Look, these are NOT convection ovens and they put preform them by a bunch. People get this confused. Convection ovens don't use oil, got air and elements that surrounds the food 360 degrees to make it extra crispy and give it darn close to a deep fried taste. You can not get a sear on a steak that looks like you set it on a 500 degree pan on a connection oven. You have to preheat a connection oven for like 15 minutes a lot of times, you don't do that with an air fryer. A connection oven years nothing but elements that if you're lucky, will cook most of the surface of whatever you put in it. Air fryers again, are 360 degree using a combination of hot air that sounds your food evenly cooking it way faster and anytime good is cooked this way, it traps the moisture inside of it way better so food it's often juicier. (Mainly meat) a connection oil doesn't come close. Not too mention a convection oven is way tougher to clean.

Answer:	Horizontal. The kabobs are not the easiest thing to assemble on this machine. In fact it’s quite cumbersome. But it did cook them really good & fast.
Question:	Has anyone else noticed the smell of burnt rubber, when operating the oven
Answer:	for those of you struggling with the plastic smell...Trust me put vinegar and lemon juice in a oven safe bowl run on 370-400 degrees for 10 minutes, do a few times if needed. Then put just water in the bowl run for 10 minutes or more and the smell goes away guys. I was frustrated too but this works!!!! It works awesome great product!
Question:	How does the dehydrator function work? Has anyone tried it yet
Answer:	I tried to use it for thin sliced pineapple, and after 10 hours at 125 degres, it came out just the way it went in... the top rack is drier than the other racks though. I put the bottom rack up and top rack down and tried for 10 more hours. So far, I'm not really impressed.
Question:	What's the difference between the 6qt and 8qt
Answer:	According to the information provided with each - the 6QT is 1700 watts, and the 8QT is only 1500 watts.. Big difference in heating capacity!!

Answer:	Also! There are two metal catch/release pins in the base of the air fryer that locks the drawer/basket into place. If those are rusted or hard to push down, that could be making it hard to release the drawer. I put a small amount of olive oil on them and pushed them down a few times. it resolved the issue.
Question:	Is there any way to lower the volume of the beeping noise when you press buttons

Answer:	The Kyvol air fryer is whole new experience. We are senior retired citizens, we have health issues and we have to be careful in what we eat. I have been trying frozen french fries, potato nuggets and chicken nuggets, there was no oily taste, they all came out great. You can also alternatively spray your food with a little bit of oil spray. You will tend to use less oil if you use a spray!
