Answer:	Sorry I'm late, don't check this email very often. The dial goes to 400, but if you go past that mark, maybe 425. This is a good skillet. I've put several other brands in my yard sales as white elephants, but this one is a keeper.

Answer:	The sides are about 21/2" to 3 " deep. It has a pour spout on one corner which makes the cover not seal. I have also contacted the company because after 3 uses the non stick is coming off. I would not buy this product again.
Question:	What is the maximum temperature the unit goes up to
Answer:	1400 watt . I did not like the unit and returned it. I found the Presto 16 inch fold away skillet a much better buy.

Question:	Does this item really weigh 20 pounds
Answer:	I have been frying bacon a pound at a time in Presto rectangular skillets for about 40 years, but I start with about 1/2 inch of saved and filtered drippings. That way I am frying in a pool of oil (like frying chicken) and the pan's hot spots get evened out. But I use a much lower temp than chicken - like 275-325. The lower temp takes longer but the bacon actually comes out crisper overall -not just on the edges (longer frying time boils out more water). Higher temperature means you may have to "dodge the pops" like when frying chicken.

Answer:	The skillet is 3 inches deep plus the lid is rounded so you have 4-5 inches to play with. Makes the best fried chicken which is a delicacy here. We don't fry food regularly. Awesome skillet.

Answer:	Hi Mary M. I LOVE this appliance. My Mom and I fry in it and just love it. It's pretty deep, much deeper than it looks here - I measured from the bottom of the inside to the top of the inside and it's 2 and 3/4 inches - almost 3 inches deep. Plenty of depth. L, Mia
Question:	HOW DEEP IS THE SKILLET
Answer:	I bake in it all the time...to use in the oven, you use it without the handle/base. I often make a large egg bake with 1 dozen eggs, 1 lb sausage and greens to eat throughout the week. Plugged in, I fry the sausage, then wilt a huge pile of greens while I crack the eggs. Pour the eggs/milk over it, top it with uncooked mushrooms, maybe cheese. Unplug and put the base straight into the oven. ONE PAN! I LOVE this and another friend of mine uses it for almost everything she cooks...it makes a great morning griddle, and a great 1 pan dinner meal. (She just sets it on the stove without any of the handle/base parts. Actually, that's how I cook in it as well...I set the base on my glass topped stove and cook in it like that...without the handles and base.) Then, it can go straight into the oven as well. Both of us are no-nonsense people. ( If I were cooking with a child, I would use the base/handle assembly..) I've never done it, but it would be PERFECT for a huge batch of lasagne. Plenty deep, and you could roast a turkey in it, as well. My number one top use for this is making ketogenic low-carb shirataki noodle dishes. The large flat surface makes short work of drying out the noodles, which is step #1 for a good shirataki noodle dish. Then you stir fry your meat and aromatics directly in the noodles, add healthy fats and add shredded cabbage and misc veggies, bone broth, etc. ONE POT! I make four bags of shirataki Miracle noodles plus all the other add-ins for four large noodle bowl servings. Technically, I could probably do an 8 bag noodle dish in this pan, but that's more than I need.

Question:	Can Bella send me a new handle? Mine was delivered broken
Answer:	I just got mine. It came without the knob and screw for the lid. Amazon wanted me to rebox the whole thing and return it so I could get another one with all the parts. I told them “just send me the missing parts. It will be easier, cheaper and I would be satisfied” I then the manufacturer and they said I had to go through the seller. My problem was not resolved. Luckily a knob fit from an old lid.

For Simmer: Add oil, shortening, butter or margarine to Electric Skillet and preheat to desired temperature. If required, brown food on all sides. Add liquid or make a sauce as directed in he recipe. With the temperature control set to 300 F - 350 F, bring liquid to a boil. Turn temperature control dial down just until indicator light goes out. This is the simmer point. Cover. Simmer food for the directed length of time or until food is done. Check periodically during cooking and add more liquid as necessary. DO NOT LET SKILLET BOIL DRY. I hope this helps. Best regards. Answer:	See 1st 5-star rating from Amazon Customer." Because it is copper, the manual says prior to using, to wash the pan with mild soap and thoroughly dry it. Then heat it (dry and empty) for 5 minutes at 450 degrees, then shut it off and let it cool for at least 15 minutes. 3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour, sifted

4 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt

1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature

2 cups granulated white sugar

4 eggs, 1 cup milk

1 tbsp vanilla extract

2 lb strawberries, hulled and chopped, divided

1 cup 35% heavy cream

1/4 cup icing sugar

Instructions

1) PREHEAT Bella Copper Ceramic Skillet to 275˚F. Line bottom of skillet with square of parchment paper.

2) Meanwhile, in bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. In separate bowl and using electric mixer, beat butter and sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, incorporating each one fully before adding the next addition. Beat in vanilla.

3) With mixer on low, add flour mixture in 3 parts and milk in 2 parts, starting and ending with flour mixture, and scraping down bowl as needed. Fold in 2 cups chopped strawberries.

4) Scrape batter into skillet, smoothing top. Bake for 30-40 min or until tester inserted into center comes out clean.

5) Whip cream and icing sugar until peaks form. Spread over cake; top with remaining strawberries.

Answer:	The basket is one piece but the lid is detachable. I love this product. I make all of my babies baby food. This steamer works great for it I love it. I can also make an entire dinner in the 3 tiers. ❤️❤️❤️

Answer:	I checked the box and the user manual, and they don't say. The plastic used for the rice steamer is definitely different than the food baskets. The user manual has an email address for questions: [email protected]

Answer:	They can but they will most likely leak. The #1 basket has a smaller base that fits INSIDE the drip pan. The other two baskets have larger bases and sit outside the top rim of the drip pan which can cause condensation to leak out. It should always have the #1 basket on the bottom to prevent leaking.
Question:	What can it do? Only for cooking
Answer:	Any water yore comfortable steaming your food with. I use tap, it's the same I would use to boils food so no big dea there. And from what I've seen, no the element doesn't have to be cleaned. The water is put into a tank at the bottom and then over that lays a catch Basen for the water that condensates and drips from cooking. So the only thing near the steamer is fresh clean water! It's super easy clean. Definitely recommend it

Question:	Exactly how deep is this skillet
Answer:	They can be removed with a tweezers. The adhesive does not dry, so you could pull a sticker off three years from now and it would re-attach. If you do get a problem, send me (the seller) a note or use the web address on the package and I will send you a new set. There is a full three year manufactur's warranty on the product.

Answer:	Absolutely! Very much worth the very reasonable price. They make seeing the keyboard sooooo much easier. Just be aware that although they are florescent green, they DO NOT glow in the dark.
Question:	Is it submersible
Answer:	yes. I received it on December 27, 2018 and not a single one has come loose or faded. Also about a month after I received my order the company shipped a 2nd one explaining that they had updated the keys with a newer version just after my order. The update was free and they thanked me for my purchase. I would use the company's products again without any hesitation. My only recommendation is to let someone with steady hand place them. I didn't get all of my straight...my fault and NOT the products fault.

Answer:	If you have the 07061 griddle, the cooking surface is 22 x 11.5 inches (without handles), the full griddle is 2.5 inches high, 26.25 inches long, and 11.5 inches wide. Question:	How many standard size grilled cheese can you fit on this griddle? I cook for 16 people once a week so size is a big factor
Answer:	I just measured, using a slice of bread, and you can get (snugly with no space in between sandwiches) 12 sandwiches. BUT, like anything, doing too many at once may not work. You could DEFINITELY fit 8, feed half the group you make food for and then make 8 more. It also comes with a really neat little instruction book that tells you what temperature to cook certain food at. Grilled Sandwiches get cooked at 325-350 degrees for 5-10 minutes. The griddle is 22 inches long and can accommodate a lot of food at once.
Question:	Is the non-stick surface PTFE and PFOA free
Answer:	According to Presto Customer Service the only model they have that is PTFE and PFOA is model 07115, which is a skillet versus a griddle. Here is their response "Our current model, stock number 07115, is ceramic coated and does NOT have PTFE or PFOA. All other griddles do have PTFE and PFOA."
Question:	does it smoke
Answer:	The 07061 griddle can smoke if oils are left on and the surface is not cleaned well. Answer:	Thank you for you question. The skillet with the legs are one piece once assembled. The lid and the thermostat insert are separate parts.

Answer:	The pan itself is 8x8. With the handles you can add about 3 inches. 2 inches deep. I love this little pan. It works great for cooking for 2 people. I have used it for everything from scrambled eggs to small pot roast. Great for all.
Question:	Will the griddle damage my quartz countertop
Answer:	I have two of these and both have degree settings and on both, setting it on the '5' in 275° will give a constant average temp of 205° without ever reaching 212°... the perfect answer to all day simmering for a two person entree, or two meals for one. I love this thing. It's not great for frying, though, as its heat is concentrated in a circular pattern following the heating element. It is 800 watts, but one must remember that that only applies when it calls for heat. In my case that is only about 10% of the time, which puts a 10 hour simmer at about 0.8 KWH @ 124VAC (or 0.4 KWH on your utilie's meter). A very cheap date

Question:	Does this model have a pouring spout in one corner
Answer:	yes the legs are removable. The legs and lifting handle are formed as one unit for each side of the unit and in the centre of each leg is a screw that attaches into the metal base. So two legs and a handle all are removable with two screws and the same holds true for the other side of the unit (i.e. two handles and four legs) The thermostat controller is also removable.
Question:	Is the temperature setting(300, 350, 400 etc.) fairly accurate? Also, does it come with instructions on how to cook various things
Answer:	You have 2 options - preheat to 350, grease the bottom of the pan & its sides, put what you want to bake in the pan, cover it & wait. I find this over browns the bottom of what ever you are baking. Instead, I developed my own method years ago for baking bread, cakes, cookies & so on. I arrange canning rims over the bottom of the pan. Cover the pan & preheat to the baking temp. Once heated, place the pan of what you are baking on top of the canning rims. Replace the cover & wait. The timing is similar to using an electric oven - a bit slower but not much. An 8x8 pan fits nicely inside. So do 8x4 loaf pans - great for making bread. Be advised to slightly undersize your loaves or they can rise too high & stick to the inside of the lid. I also found that you can make reusable baking sheets by wrapping double wall corrugated cardboard with a double layer of heavy duty aluminum foil. (Don't try to wash these, just wipe clean with a slightly soap cloth or sponge, then go over a second time with a clean damp cloth.) These are especially nice if you by chance burn something on them or melt cheese all over the surface. No troublesome cleaning at all, jut strip off the damaged layer & apply a fresh layer of foil. :) I spent close to three months with no functioning stove or oven, but I did have 2 electric fry pans. Once I got the hang of my technique, I toyed with going without the stove. I found that I could place a small (1 quart) sauce pan in my older electric fry pan that did not have a non stick coating and use it as a gentle heat source for warming leftovers or melting delicate foods such as cheeses or chocolate. I hope this gives you, and anyone who reads this, so useful ideas.
