Grilling really can't get much easier than this. After assembling the grill (which takes only a few minutes), simply plug it in and allow about 10 minutes to fully preheat the surface while you gather your steaks, kebabs, or whatever's to be grilled. The electric heat has an adjustable range from low (for keeping food warm) to high (for searing steaks). The nonstick grill surface not only means you can use a minimum of added fat, but it also makes cleanup a cinch. The surface has a subtle slope, with channels that draw accumulated fat or other liquids into a tray just below the surface. The high domed and vented lid helps create a circular flow of hot air to ensure even cooking--particularly important for a large roast or whole chicken.

The grill can be placed either directly on a tabletop or atop its pedestal. On its own, the grill surface stands about 6 inches high; with the pedestal, it stands about 2-1/2 feet high, not counting the domed lid. Answer:	There is plenty of room for a "rack of ribs" but not ribs on a rack. I didn't realize this before I bought mine but still love it -- with an electric grill the heat does not circulate throughout, like it does on a charcoal or gas grill, and therefore the ribs wouldn't cook well. It is made for steaks, chicken, hamburgers, fish, etc. and not large items like whole chickens, roast, etc.

Answer:	I don't know what Teresa is talking about. First, you can find the wattage of the heating element in the specs. Second, the heating service on ours is extremely even. If hers does not heat evenly, then there is a problem with it. I would definitely recommend this product.

Answer:	yes it's non stick. I use it all the time and there is no stick for me.
Question:	Will my steak taste like a steak on a grill or like a steak on a George Foreman grill which no offense is pretty gross and steam instead of grilling
Answer:	Definitely a good question. I had the same question and issue with the GF grill. I bought this HB Grill and it is great. Great searing and cooks like an outdoor regular grill. Marinate or season your steak however you like it and it will come out perfect. Of course, you won’t have the charcoal flavor if that is what you use for your outdoor grill, but the other flavor, texture and searing will be there. (I personally think it comes out juicier on this grill than the regular outdoor grills). I also found that this HB grill made it easier to get the cooking level you want; for steak; I.e. Medium, Medium Well, Well Done etc.
Question:	the removable grill plate has plug in attached. Is it ok to get that wet when cleaning
Answer:	Yes the booklet says it can be washed, the only thing you can't wash is the base it plugs into. However I don't put mine in the dishwasher and when I wash it I don't let it sit in water. Like my old George Foreman I find its easier to clean if I put wet paper towels on the grills surface while its still hot and shut the lid, this steams off a lot of the baked on marinade I use...

Answer:	The assembly is not that trouble so i was clean it as how i assembled it. Take out the two grills and clean it under water.I only dismantled the heating element and pull it out.Clean the shield and the raclette body with damp cloth. It is not that painful. Answer:	No it does not have book telling cook times for food. I cannot recommend this item. Does not heat even. Bottom hotter than top. Uneven heat in just one plate. Mine was very bad.
