Question:	Wanting to get for my husband who drives a semi. Need to know how many amps it pulls? the plugs in his truck are only 10 amp
Answer:	Cars and trucks are on a 12 Volt system and your house is on a 120 Volt system. 8 amps on 12 Volts is only 96 Watts. 8 amps in your home is 960 Watts. The highest amp fuse on a vehicle that I have ever seen is 30 amps. That's less than 300 watts of electricity, not enough to run a hotplate. 10 amps on a vehicle would be totally inadequate.I'm not familiar with Semi's. I'm guessing they are also on a 12 Volt system.
Question:	Can this get water to a full boiling point
Answer:	It does not. About 3 quarts of water will get hot, but the thermostat will automatically make it shut off just before boiling point. I know because I tried to get it to boil for 3 hours.

Question:	Does this type of cooktop has a fan like the inducted cooktop? And so does it make noise? Thank you
Answer:	I have the Ovente BG44S model with one burner. It has a small fan located at the back that makes as much noise as a typical desktop PC. I'm not sure about the BG1202S; but I'll bet that model has a fan as well. Also, you must wait for the fan to finish cooling the burners before you cut the power; the fan will shut off automatically after a few minutes, then you can turn off the power switch. If you cut the power before the fan finishes its cycle, it may reduce the life of your electric cooktop. I've had mine for almost 2 years without problems.
