Answer:	I love mine, the T-fal P2510737 unit. This unit is really only for pressure cooking, NOT pressure canning. The new types are so much easier than the old ones that could overpressurize. One thing that is really important, let the unit vent steam for several minutes before closing it to make sure you get a good seal. The instructions were not a clear on that but i knew to do it from pressure canning.

Answer:	Fee, I suggest you contact the Presto customer service people. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I purchased their pressure regulator which has all three weights, 15 psi, 10psi and 5 psi. It comes as three 5psi weights and you use all three for 15 and just two for ten. I love it! Don't know what the part number is tho. Presto people will be able to tell you. Good luck and good cooking!
Question:	does this fit an 8-quort pressure cooker
Answer:	No, at 5,000ft you will be canning at 13 psi on a dial gauge. IF (and that can be a big if) you have a convenient place to get the gauge tested each year (check with your county extension office) then you are better off doing that and using the gauge so that you don't (slightly) overprocess the food by canning at 15 psi (using all 3 pieces) with this weight set. If you do not have a test facility near by, or do not want to watch the dial and adjust the burner as necessary to maintain 13 psi during the entire process, then yes, buy this set. The regulator that comes with the dial-gauge canner is not calibrated as precisely and cannot be relied upon to maintain even 15 psi. Answer:	The OD of the seal is greater than the groove in which it is installed. This insures a compressed fit, apply vegetable oil when installing to allow seal to center position itself, ( a bit laborious). The pot was gift and not available for inspection. The seal worked correctly. I will be purchasing another for similar pot.

Answer:	I believe that this gasket will fit your lid. But I haven't seen a canner that processes 14 quarts at a time. The big ones usually do double layers of pints. The lids of a National#7 and a Maid of Honor are interchangeable on a 21 qt and a 16 quart. But the quart size on the canners is USUALLY how much the Pot will HOLD... Not the number of Jar Sizes to be processed. So a 16 quart canner holds 16 quarts of liquid to cook and 7 quart jars of food to be Canned/Processed. I am newer at this but do some research. The gasket 09907 fits my National #7and my Presto #21AV.
