Question:	Has anybody tried spiralizing vegetables with theirs? I've been eyeing this for awhile, but would love it if it could even sloppily spiralize
Answer:	The kitchenaid brand spiralizer attachment is needed to spiralize your produce. I bought the 7 blade Kitchenaid spiralizer set. I use the large spiralizing blade to make zucchini noodles. Zoodles. It is the BEST tool on the market for Zoodles. Shop prices. Amazon has not had the best price. I shopped here first. But, found it for $55 less elsewhere. I plan to buy a second one to have an extra set of blades. I can see myself wearing the spiralizer out.
Question:	I’m looking at this to mainly grate block cheeses. Would this work
Answer:	Very cold or frozen cheese will work best.

Question:	My stand mixer was made before 1990. Does KitchenAid make a similar product for older machines
Answer:	I've had my KitchenAid since 1987 & have replaced the attachments once as they cracked from the dishwasher, even though they are supposed to be dishwasher safe. Yes, they absolutely fit the older mixer. If you have the opening in the front these will fit. I grate cheese, grind my own meats, make my own juice & wine, there is not much I have not used my mixer for.

Answer:	Hi Robert, in answer to your question, Yes it does shred cheeses nicely, both hard and soft variety, I suggest putting the cheese you are slicing or grating in the freezer for about 10 to 15 minutes before you start, so it grates or shreds without tearing your cheese. All in all I am quite pleased with this product, quality made like all kitchen aid products. I hope this answers your question.
