Answer:	I'm no expert on electricity, but I would guess no. These cords are for solar powered fountains so I would think they aren't made to handle very much actual electricity. If a standard extension cord wont work for your needs, it might be a safer bet to check with an electrician or at least someone who knows a thing or two about splitting electrical wires just to be sure nothing shorts out or could possibly become a fire hazard. Hope that helps a little.
