Answer:	I use cheesecloth when blocking and forming my homemade tofu as there are holes in the bottom of the insert but to just squeeze excess water from an already blocked tofu, no you dont need it. Just place the block in, place top on, turn the knob and let sit for about 15 minutes. Very easy.

Answer:	I typically turn episodically over 20 minutes until i feel the slightest resistance. If you turn too hard the tofu will begin to crumble and split on bottom.

Answer:	This works great, only drawback is the space it takes up in your cabinet when not in use. You ask a subjective question, I am usually pressing firm tofu, so results may vary for you... but 10-20 min seems to suffice. Depends on how dry you want it and how long you want to wait. Answer:	It accommodates a 16 oz block of tofu. If the fit is too tight to get the top down, I slice a very small slice off of one end of the tofu and it fits nicely.

Answer:	I only have used the press once. I used the organic sprouted tofu from Trader Joe's which are 2 smaller blocks instead of one large. I had an awful time as i couldn't get it to press until i put the unit on my floor & w 1 foot holding down press lid, i finally could snap closed. The Trader Joe's fit, just super hard to press.

1. Lock the spring in the bottom container

2. Place the tofu in the inner tub, then put them on the spring in the bottom container

3. Place the lid on top of the tofu

4. With one hand pressing the lid evenly until you can clip the buckle with one hand

5. Clip the buckle with the other hand

6. Leave in the fridge for the desired length of time. When you have finished pressing, pour away the water, release the clips and remove your pressed tofu.

Question:	Do you need cheesecloth
Answer:	There are no springs. It's a simple butterfly screw and threaded metal rod setup. The only way to adjust the distance between the plates to press the Tofu harder is to shorten the distance between plates by tightening the screws.
Question:	Whats the size tofu block fit
Answer:	I think it has taken about 15 minutes to get a good drain. I tend to set it up, and then tighten the screws every so often, but easily within 15 minutes you've got a good drain. And I've used it probably at least 8 times so far and I love it! (I don't know if it's dishwasher safe, but I would handwash it anyway.) I really recommend it!
Question:	Can you press more the one block at a time
Answer:	The EZ Tofu Press can accomplish pressing in 15 minutes or less. By tensioning the knobs every two minutes it speeds up the drying process. Much faster than weights!
Question:	I am unable to remove the white plate please help
Answer:	Due to my location I only have access to Nasoya Tofu, I generally use their Non GMO Extra Firm or Super Firm. FYI: Each tofu brick is unique and different, I find that some batches press better than others. If you are going to cube, I would recommend a slower pressing time, this will enable the edges not to bow out. Hope this helps!
