Answer:	The base unit (or host unit, which is the box with the LCD screen) also has a temperature sensor. It's range is 14 F to 140 F since it is for the Inside. The other two sensors, which are wireless, have a range of -40 F to 140 F and can handle refrigerator/freezer applications, or for outdoor use.

Answer:	Press and hold alarm sensor 1 button a few seconds the max temp will start flashing on the right side use the plus or minus buttons to reach your desired temp. press again and min temp. will start flashing and adjust as before with + or - and its set. It will return to the reg. temp. Repeat for Alarm sensor 2. The max and min temps. that remain are the highest and lowest temps. reached while monitoring the until its cleared. Does not clear your set temps. You can adjust set temps. the same as setting.

Answer:	I do believe it could be used in the freezer or freezers. The 3 outdoor sensors are rated to -40° F. The indoor pad is rated to -4°. I do know there are other types that are strictly made for refrigerator / freezer readings. I am not sure if the constant cold would affect the Brifit sensors you've asked about.

Answer:	you don't have to calibrate them .

Answer:	Good question. Maybe amazon can explain. I certainly cannot.
Question:	Instructions are terrible. how do you setup max/min temps
Answer:	I don't think you can set it up, it picks it up as it reads and displays the min-max - like for every 12 hours or so.
