Answer:	The only issue I had was after the second time I used it in my smoker the second input for the probe stopped working all together. It wouldn't read anything.

Answer:	One of my sensors cut out the second day I had it. The transmitter was sitting a good 6 inches from my smoker. The smoker was at a temp of 200° Fahrenheit. I wouldn't advise getting this. Spend a few dollarsore and get one that can withstand the heat.
Question:	Can I leave the probe in the oven all of the time
Answer:	I don't see why not. Obviously you are not going to have it connected to the receiver all the time. What's the point if you are not cooking. If you are cooking one kind of meat, and that is what the receiver is set for (low/high temp), and you then cook another, you would change the meat in the receiver first. If you are baking a cake, not sure how that translates to a temp you would set on the receiver. Seems to be easier and much cheaper just to buy a thermometer for the oven.

Answer:	I solved this guys!! Inkbird “Pro” app is dead in the water. There’s a new/different app by same company, Inkbird Plus, which restores graphing function and push notifications. Download that one instead and delete pro version. I contacted customer support, they never mentioned new app. Happened to find it on my own. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Any freaking where. That is why I bought it. It works like the Traeger Grilles WiFire technology which allows me to monitor one temp probe, grille temp, temperature setting, and others no matter where as long as I have access to cell or some other WiFi, just need network. If traeger had more temp probes I wouldn’t need this.

I will be returning it as this 'inconvenience' makes it completely worthless for what I wanted it for (I do 16 hour brisket cooks and often need a middle of the night alert to wrap...if it's not gonna wake me when it hits temp, what's the point?)

Answer:	To set your own temp you must choose CUSTOM temp. I too wish I could set the meat temps instead of the USDA recommendation of burn till tough. All germs die at 157 degrees. So if the temp of (all) your meat goes to at least 157 then you are safe.

Question:	I would like to use this for my pizza oven. Would I be able to insert the probe through a hole and monitor for 700 degrees Fahrenheit air temperature
Answer:	Youd actually be better off using an automotive exhaust gas temperature gauge with K type thermocouple. They can handle in excess of 1000F and are very accurate. Will require wiring with a wallwart for 12VDC, and dealing with the gauge pod so you can mount it up but they are available for much less than most cooking thermometers.

Answer:	it is not! Do not leave in the rain. You will notice condensation in the digital window, that is a sure sign electronics are not happy for long. I experienced this, had to disassemble the unit and allow to dry. I do love this product because of the customer service and value. I think these are great for what they are intended to do.
Question:	Can multiple units be used simultaneously, without interfering with each other? I'd like to use three at the same time
Answer:	There will be some interference yes. I was running 3 side by side for 12-16 hours per day and I had to occasionally walk away with a set to get them to re-sync to each other. It was probably once a day or so tops between all three units, so all in all not a major issue.

Answer:	For oil temp, yes. For internal turkey temp, I wouldn’t. Don’t submerge that much of the probe and cable into the hot oil. While the cable is metal wrapped, I don’t think it would withstand the time it takes while submerged.

Answer:	There is a wire in the probes. So the display has a wire that goes to the meat. However the connection between your smart phone and the unit is wireless using Bluetooth. Mine works very well

Answer:	The large head does present the problem of not going through the grommet easily. It’s ok for just one probe although not quick and easy. I usually use multiple probes, therefore I remove the grommet, put probes through the hole and just seal with aluminum foil.

Answer:	yes contact the manufacturer or amazon. mine went out and they replaced the whole unit. as far as calibrating. yes and no. you can check the accuraccy of each probe then deduct or add the amount you need. example. you put the prob in to a glass of ice water. it reads 40 degrees, so it is 4 degrees off to the plus side, so now you will have to deduct 4 from your temps when checking

Answer:	I have a Pixel 1. I was struggling to connect my phone to this thermometer. I was having no luck in the app and no luck connecting directly because there was no connection code. What worked for me was to go into the app settings and grant permissions for Location and Phone. Then the thermometer would connect successfully through the app with no pairing code.

With most cooks with the Stick in a grill/oven, we recommend it be within 6 feet. However, for a dutch oven with a lid (and if it's placed inside an oven or grill) It'd probably need to be within a feet for best performance.
