The outside box is adjustable and in my drawer it makes another compartment that is about 16.25 inches long. It’s is very well made, beautiful and functional. I’m going to get another one.

Answer:	I do not have it with me at my current location so I do not know. However, whether it is 8% Ni or 10% Ni (18% Cr or both) unless you want to use the ice cream scoop in a salt water environment the 8 vs 10 designation is insignificant. The 10 will last 100 yrs vs the 8 only 95 years. Both are 304 SS food grade. If you are seriously concerned look for 316 SS with 2-3% Mo. Sorry if sound snarky, but 18/8 vs 18/10 does not matter for an ice cream scoop

Question:	Should you be able to feel the liquid in the handle? I had one years ago and you could easily feel it move around, this one it is like there is none
Answer:	A person at Zeroll said that the handle now contains a jell. My scoop does not transmit a feeling that there is liquid in the handle. As for any hand heat transfer to the scoop blade, I find no noticeable effect, so my frozen homemade ice cream with its small ice crystals has to be allowed to thaw sufficiently for scooping ease. ( I read that Arrowroot powder prevents ice crystals from forming. Use ratio of 1 tsp. to 1 pint of ice cream mixture if you are interested.)
Question:	does the scooper have the zeroll name on it... the current picture doesn't show the brand name and I worry it could be a knock off
Answer:	I examined my Zeroll scooper and do not find any brand name inscription. The product is very well made and the the end of the handle has an attractive brown insert just like the picture.
Question:	Which size is best to make the biggest scoops that still fit commonly-available sugar cones
Answer:	In my opinion (and I tried out a couple) the best size for cones is the gold one, I think it's the 2 ounce one.

Answer:	In the right-hand, the thumb is controlling the lever. And in the left-hand, the index and middle finger would control the lever. In both cases, either hand can hold and scoop out the ice cream. Only the lever-action is different.

Answer:	The volume of the scoop when leveled flat (a hemisphere) is 1/4 cup = 60 mL = 4 Tbsp. I measured this by filling the scoop with water and weighing it, which showed exactly 60g (ie 60 mL). The rounded (spherical) volume would be 1/2 cup = 120 mL = 8 Tbsp.

Answer:	Don’t know the answer as I gave them as a gift!! They looked pretty good and sturdy , I don’t think I would put them on the dishwasher myself .. I have comercial scoopers and hand wash them .

Answer:	I have had no problem with it rusting or tarnishing. It is a great product and the reason one does not put it in the dishwasher is the liquid inside of the scoop cannot take that high heat. I've seen these in ice cream parlors and they keep them in a container of water because they are in constant use. When I'm finished using mine, I just wash with a little soap and water, dry it off or put it in the drainer. I'd definitely recommend it.
