Why do I need this funnel?

We aren't saying traditional funnels don't work, but our funnels can make for easier and cleaner oil changes for not a lot of money.

The “no funnel” approach - We've all probably been guilty of this. This is thinking you can pour a full quart of engine oil into the engine through the small hole in the valve cover from some distance above it. This is easier on some engines than others, but usually results in at least some spilled oil.

The “regular funnel” approach – Unless you can find a funnel that will friction fit into the oil fill port, they are usually too long and end up touching a baffle or something else causing restricted oil flow. Since they don't seal, if you pour oil in faster than it can drain down into the engine oil might overflow. Many times these funnels require you to hold them the entire time, otherwise they tend to fall over.

The “Motivx Tools engine oil funnel” approach – Since this funnel screws into the oil fill port, it doesn't require any holding whatsoever so you are free to use both hands. It seals to the engine with a rubber gasket so even if you pour oil in faster than it can drain down into the engine it won't leak. You can also leave single quarts of oil in the funnel to completely drain while retrieving and opening the next one.

Will this funnel fit my vehicle?

It fits all Subaru vehicles approximatly 1990 and newer not including the Tribeca which doesn't fit due to clearance issues. This funnel includes the yellow adapter shown allowing it to work with your Subaru. This funnel will also fit many Honda vehicles when the adapter is not used.

Answer:	Yes. I have a 2017 wrx with the same engine and it fits perfectly. It also fits the 3.6R 6 cylinder engine.

Question:	does the neck "accordian" thing collapse down---making it shorter
Answer:	I agree with Aaron Vogel! It probably could do it with some willpower and muscle, but doubt you would want to collapse it as it would likely weaken the integrity of the thicker plastic. I'm thinking it is the same sort of plastic of which fuel containers are constructed, not the smoother and flimsier stuff of some other funnels.
Question:	Is the diameter of the tip small enough to fit in the transmission fluid fill tube of 2015 honda cr-v
Answer:	I don't know what size a Honda fill tube is but this funnel fits the fill tube on my Ford.
Question:	is this good for pouring off oil from deep fry
Answer:	It is great for keeping the remaining contents from getting all aver, but is made out of plastic and would only work after the deep fry oil had cooled, a metal one might work better for hot oil.

Question:	How much does the feeder weigh
Answer:	Empty it weighs 2.36 pounds, filled with black oil sunflower seeds it weighs 4.30 pounds I see the description says it will hold 3.4 pounds of seeds. I am assuming that they are speaking of mixed bird seed. This product works exactly as described. Squirrels will swing from it occasionally. They tire of it very fast.
Question:	what types of birds can feed from this model
Answer:	We have Cardinals, Gold Finchs, House Finches, Purble Finches, Black cap Chickadees as well as a wide variety of other birds. The birds that you attract will largely depend on the feed that you use. I always use high quality feed and avoid the super market or any no name brand. I often mix my own blends such as black oil sunflower seed, safflower, and sunflower seed. I use this blend in a number of my feeders and find that it attracts a large variety of birds. Lately I have been using a quality blend that includes peanuts, sunflower kernels, safflower seeds, Pistachios, hulled pumpkin seeds and a variety of fruit pieces. This has been very well recieved by a number of birds so I continue its use. The point I am making is that to be successful in attracting birds a number of factors should be considered such as quality feed, quality feeders, clean feeders and locations that the birds feel safe to visit. This feeder is an outstanding feeder that is well made, easy to fill and clean and a joy to use. It is also enjoyable to watch the squirrels try and fail to get at the seed. I highly recommend any of the feeders from this brand. I have a number of different models from them and they all outperform other feeders. I think that you will be very pleased with your purchase and will enjoy many years of enjoyable use.
Question:	what is it made of
Answer:	an inner chamber holds the feed, with the holes for feeding lining up with the holes in the outer metal mesh covering. The Outer metal mesh covering is hung from a spring which, when weight greater than a bird or two is applied, pulls down and decorative metal leaves cover the feed holes from the obvious, far too heavy, intruder. It has solved our squirrel pilfering problem and cut our bird feed expenses by 2/3!! It really works.
Question:	How do you fill the feeder without seed escaping through the feeder holes
Answer:	I set the feeder down in the bag or bucket of seed so that the seeds that fall out of the holes simply fall back into the bag.

The Need for Clearance

Remember it is the squirrel’s weight that triggers the closing mechanism. If a squirrel can reach over from a nearby foothold and avoid placing its weight on the feeder, it will be able to access the seed. Allow for at least 18 inches or 47 cm of clearance around the feeder. This will force the squirrel to climb onto the feeder triggering the closing mechanism.

The weight of an adult squirrel automatically closes the seed ports, denying access to the seed but not harming the squirrels in any way.

Instruction:

1. First install the correct sized adapter into the correct cap. Place the gasket in a downward position. Tighten the cap with adaptor to make sure it doesn’t leak.

2. If 45° elbow or extension needed, place the funnel after elbow or extension is placed well into the adapter opening.

3. Fill funnel slowly and carefully with coolant about 1/3 full.

4. When run the engine with funnel attached, fluid level should be at low position. Keep RPM on idle position. (Shut down the engine if notice the fluid level rise excessively. Wait for fluid level go lower before restarting the engine.)

5. Use Fluid Stopper for remaining fluid inside the funnel to flow to the radiator hose by squeeze it and release.

6. After finish, remove the funnel ( and or extension/elbow) & adapter, close the radiator with cap tightly.

• Allows color matching of caps for dedicated adapters.
• Cooling System fill kit prevents spills and trapped air. Trapped air pockets may cause erratic cooling system and heater performance.

Question:	How wide is the opening at the bottom
Answer:	Hello, If it takes a lot more then 2 ounces, please adjust your spray gun settings, and your spray technique. You should have the gun set to spray about a 4-5 inch wide pattern, when held 4-5 inches from the client. The farther back you hold the gun, the more solution you loose in the air (using more). Please also move you hand/arm faster. Most beginners move arm to slowly, It should take roughly about 5 min to spray two coats of 1 ounce each. This takes practice. It gets easier with time. Also if you are spraying yourself (not another person) you WILL use aout twice as much solution, because your are unable to hold arm and handle level during spraying. If you need help with this , please call MaxiMist Support at 727-834-9435 to get help with correctly adjusting your spraygun. You do not turn a setting to dry clients. Just stop pulling the trigger, (this stops solution )and twist off the sprayhead from the handle, so it blows air only (see your product booklet), or remove the hose from the gun to spray air only.

Answer:	This machine was a complete waste of money. I only used it a handful of times because the cups were leaking everywhere and the pressure dial was never consistent. I’m assuming that you can purchase replacement parts on their direct website. However, I would anticipate more upcoming issues with this machine due to the poor quality of the product.

Answer:	Some kind of plastic like surface. It works well though
