Answer:	No. These are NO2 chargers (Nitrous Oxide), used to put air into whipped cream using a whipped cream charger.Soda chargers (such as ISI) use CO2 instead of NO2 (because water will hold carbon dioxide if you shake it, but will not hold nitrous oxide).

Answer:	An unused cartridge will last a lifetime. If you are asking how much cream you can charge, it is about one pint per charger which makes about 1 quart of whipped cream. As long as your dispenser does not leak that will last until your cream expires.... my family has never made it that far😉

Answer:	These are compatible with virtually all of the iSi whipped cream dispensers manufactured since 1990 and also all of the "2nd tier" dispensers marketed. In the last couple of decades, their has been a trend to standardize whipped cream cartridge sizes.
Question:	Do these 8.4 g cartridges fit in dispensers designed for 8 g N2O chargers or are the cartridges a different size
Answer:	These chargers are slightly bigger than the standard 8 gram cartridges. For this reason, they will not fit much older models (ie models made prior to 1997). The older models have a smaller threading on the intake and therefore have a smaller charger holder which will not be able to fit these larger cartridges. But all modern models will be compatible with these chargers.
