| Answer: | We drilled through a 8 inch cinder block wall with this bit. We also needed a 4 inch vent pipe...in our case for a dryer. It was difficult to get a standard 4 inch vent through the hole we bored. To have it work we inserted a sleeve through the wall made from sheet metal that was probably a little smaller than 4 inches and attached a 4 inch vent pipe on the inside and an outdoor vent on the other. This solution was easy and worked out great. |
