Answer:	The 615 is very easy to break down for cleaning. Lol, I have 5 thumbs when it comes to mechanical engineering, and even I have no problems. It's not a complicated piece of equipment. I think it's one of the best designed slicers out there. Especially for the money.

Answer:	Gears are ALL plastic. Also the knife and cutting plates provided are metal but are NOT stainless as advertised. They corrode when exposed to water and leave black residue on ground meat. Auger is advertised as aluminum but is chrome plated so I assume they are actually pot-metal. Don't trust their specs, they are deceptive.

Answer:	Nope, and I highly NOT recommend buying it, unfortunately I was very disappointed then I have bought it for my #12. The best sizes for regular usage are #8 and #12, I am using #12 for 2 years and very happy. Tried this one and it didn't do the job. My neighbor uses #22 and #32 and super happy!

User questions & answers

Question:	Does it use metal gear
Answer:	Yes air cooled ... there is no issue with this. Typically I grind 60 lbs meat in one setting and have done numerous times at 70 degree ambient temperature
Question:	does it have reverse
Answer:	I'm not sure about the #8. I have the #12 and I suspect I could grind a Volkswagen with it. I wouldn't be surprised if the #8 could grind COOKED chicken bones, but if you're concerned about it, get the #12. I push semi-frozen venison through this thing and I have yet to even slow it down. You won't make a mistake going bigger but you might by going smaller.
Question:	is this made in china
Answer:	I do remove the skin when grinding chicken. It does have a tendency to get wound around the mechanism so you have to clean it frequently.
Question:	will it grind bone as well as meat
Answer:	Lem approves the use of their #12 Big Bite grinder for chicken bones, and it will not void the warranty. Obviously the 22 and 32 can also do chicken bones. I own a 12 Big Bite and grind chicken bones, and rabbit bones with it. It will also do turkey bones but you must first cleaver chop into smaller pieces. I make my own dog and cat food with my #12 Big Bite.

Electric Foot Pedal

An On/Off Electric Foot Fedal is included with this grinder for "Hands Free" operation of the meat grinder.

This is especially handy when stuffing sausage.

Please note that you "Do Not" have to use the foot pedal to control the grinder. When the grinder is not connected to the foot pedal, the switches on the side of the grinder control the unit.

100% Polished Cast Aluminum 4 Part Grinding Head - Not Coated

The Grinding Head on this grinder is a Size #12 and not a smaller size #5 or #8 like most kitchen grinders.

The 4 parts of this Grinding Head are manufactured from Food Grade Polished Cast Aluminum (NOT Coated).

These parts should NOT be Washed in the Dishwasher, but should be washed with a mild liquid dish washing detergent (like Dawn Liquid) and hot water, towel dried and stored in a dry place.

Kubbe/Kibbe Attachment

A Kubbe (also know as Kibbe) Attachment also comes with this grinder.



For those of you who are not familiar with Kubbes, they are Traditional Middle Eastern Dish comprised of a cylinder-like shell made from meat which lamb and bulghar wheat. The center is then stuffed with a spiced minced lamb filling and the ends are sealed to form the Kubbe which is then Deep-Fried.

New Style Meat Pusher

We have designed a new type/style of Meat Pusher for stuffing your raw meat down into the grinder.



Although this grinder will normally just pull the meat down into the auger to be ground, you can just use the palm of your hand on the top of this pusher instead of gripping it with your hands which can get tiresome.

Parts Packed in One

In the above photo you can see that the top of the Meat Pusher opens up and you can store your Sausage Tube Set inside of it.

If you do store the Sausage Tubes inside this pusher, we suggest that you dry them thoroughly before storing them so condensation does not build up inside the pusher.
