Question:	How does it calculate ml if ml is a volume, not a weight
Answer:	I wish scales didn't have this--it's really just grams, changing the "gm" to "ml." Many kitchen liquids are around 1 g/ml, so it's not too far off for them. Oils are around 0.9 g/ml, so a reading of "10 ml" would actually be 10 gram, or about 11 ml. But honey is dense--about 1.4 g/ml. A reading of "10 ml" would actually be 7 grams.
Question:	can I put a bowl on it, zero it, then weigh only the contents of the bowl, not the bowl itself
Answer:	Yes, absolutely. You can put a bowl on it. Tun it on and it will start with zero. Then, you can weight your contents.
Question:	Does it come with the blueberries? Those are some good looking blueberries. This could be a deal breaker for me
Answer:	Really, if you think about it, the blueberries should come with the blue scale, red bell peppers with the red scale, and so on. Its as though no one on this thread sorts their M&M's by color before eating them!

Answer:	Yes. Batteries were getting very expensive as they don’t last very long as I used it almost daily. Had it almost 2 years, replaced once after less than a year and it died. I now have the ESCALI Primo Digital Scale ( Lifetime warranty, too) that uses AA batteries in July 2020. I thought I would not be as happy but turned out that I love this better than the Zenith. Smaller. Got the same batteries in there since I got it and AA batteries are much cheaper than the CR2032. Good Luck.
Question:	One of the units of measure on this is "fluid ounces". How do you measure liquids on a weight scale
Answer:	Referring to dtopp's answer - the question is asking how a weighing scale can measure in fl oz, which is a very good question. Fluid Ounce is a measure of volume, not weight. 1 fl oz of different liquids, say water vs oil, will weigh a different amount. So without the scale knowing exactly what liquid you are measuring, this is a completely useless "feature". I can only assume the scale always assumes you are measuring water and also assumes US fl oz (rather than British fl oz, which is slightly different), in which case 1 fl oz = 1.04 oz wt.
Question:	Can you weight fraction of the grams,such as 1.5g
Answer:	only weighs 1.0 grams but can weigh fractions of an ounce
Question:	Could the buttons be prone to getting crumbs and coffee inside them or are they sealed off

Answer:	It's easy to clean, but with raw chicken I would always put something under it if you can't clean it with a lot of soap and hot water - it's just not worth the risk.

Answer:	The batteries should last about 6-9 months depending on your use. In terms of cost, check it out at your local store considering they use common batteries. On Amazon, you can get them for really cheap. Look up CR2032 battery

Question:	Does it also go negative? For example, if I have a bowl with food in it and tare it, then remove some of the food, does it show a negative number
Answer:	I also needed to know if it would go negative 😊. The reason we use the negative measurements is this: if I am making a recipe, and I need to add 20 grams of honey, rather than messing up a measuring cup, you put the open honey jar (you don't want to include cap weight) on the scale and tare or "zero" it. Then, pick up the honey, put in about what you think is about 65% of your desired weight. Then put the honey jar back on the scale. The amount it shows in a negative number is the number of units (for me, usually grams) that you added to your recipe. Repeat pouring in until the scale registers as a negative number what you were looking to add (in this example, at the end it would say -20g).
Question:	Why are you using horribly faked superimposed photos of food? It throws off the scale of the product
Answer:	That's for "scale" (it's small: you put food on it, not people). Yes, these are definitely photoshopped, which is common here on Amazon. (If you click the strawberries and then hover your mouse over the different colors, you'll see that these are the EXACT same strawberries in each picture. ) Take a look at the review photos for something more real.
Question:	Could this scale be used to weigh a small cat under 10lbs if I put cat in a box
Answer:	"Schrodinger's cat" LOL! Patricia, I use my scale to weigh my parrot. i just have to get him to hold still for a second which I do by holding an almond in front of him. Cats usually momentary freeze when they see something interesting to them as well. Alternatively, you could make an odd sound, like a distressed mouse squeak. Your cat will probably freeze at that in order to determine where the noise is coming from. Let the cat play in the box before you put it on the scale so she/he will be used to being in it.

Answer:	If you put the food on the scale and then turn the switch on, the scale will automatically zero. This is a very intelligent function.I found out in my scale which received a few days ago.So that the pictures are not wrong.

Answer:	We have had this scale for about 3 years. The batteries have lasted that long. We don't use it every day but I don't think you will have a problem.

Answer:	The box says "Provides touch-button instant caloric (Kcal) values based on the portion of butter, sugar, flour, eggs, chocolate, chicken or beef placed on the scale." (However, I find the Ozeri frustrating to use and therefore don't use it often. I purchased this scale because it weighs in relatively small increments--grams instead of ounces. I am not interested in knowing calories, but rather small differences in weight; and for my purposes a more simple scale would probably serve me better.)

Answer:	While I did receive mine at a discount, my review was honest. My husband is military so keeping track of his weight and calorie intake is very important. This scale does that. I have not had any issues with it. I did notice it took a second to register, but, it goes over that in the manual. I also have the previous version. This one is much better with a higher weigh out and more bells and whistles.

Answer:	Yes, the all-glass top is liquid proof. Be aware the sides are NOT liquid proof, and a small amount of liquid can get in through the holes that the front 2 buttons occupy. So long as you don't have a high-volume accident with any liquid thinner than cooking oil, you will be fine.
