Answer:	I wish scales didn't have this--it's really just grams, changing the "gm" to "ml." Many kitchen liquids are around 1 g/ml, so it's not too far off for them. Oils are around 0.9 g/ml, so a reading of "10 ml" would actually be 10 gram, or about 11 ml. But honey is dense--about 1.4 g/ml. A reading of "10 ml" would actually be 7 grams.

Question:	Can a user switch measuring bowls easily when weighing foods? Or is this meant to work only with the original plastic bowl
Answer:	Yes, you can use whatever bowl/plate, etc. - you just zero it out as with the original bowl. It works better with lighter bowls so you have more range on the scale.
Question:	How do you zero out this scale
Answer:	I was extremely frustrated by this as well. There are 2 places that you can use to zero it out. Looking at the photo provided, look to the right of the right end of the "scale window." About 1.5-2" away is a white plastic bump. Likewise, look at the other end of the "scale window," about the same distance to the left, looking for another plastic bump. Decide which of these bumps to use. Now, with your thumb and forefinger of left or right hand, take ahold of ONE of these bumps, then make sure your eyes zero in on the left of the "scale window, where the 0 is." Next, with your thumb and forefinger on one of the bumps, you can actually MOVE that portion of the scale until it zeroes out. By "that portion," I mean the 2/3 of the white plastic that is part of the exterior housing. Add to it the "scale window," and you have 360 degrees of upper housing. I hope this makes sense. I can't tell you how long it took me to figure this out.

Question:	what is the smallest marking on the metric window? (1g or 5g or 10g 20g
Answer:	Metric scale side begins at 0g with the numbered marks at 50g, 100g, etc to 500g. There are ten additional small markings without numbers between each 50 interval, making small marks indicating 5g, 10g, 15g, etc. The lb window begins at 0oz and each numbered mark is 2oz, 4oz, 6oz, up to 1lb. Smaller markings between the numbers indicate each quarter ounce. A nice accurate scale for the kitchen.

Question:	Does it also go negative? For example, if I have a bowl with food in it and tare it, then remove some of the food, does it show a negative number
Answer:	I also needed to know if it would go negative 😊. The reason we use the negative measurements is this: if I am making a recipe, and I need to add 20 grams of honey, rather than messing up a measuring cup, you put the open honey jar (you don't want to include cap weight) on the scale and tare or "zero" it. Then, pick up the honey, put in about what you think is about 65% of your desired weight. Then put the honey jar back on the scale. The amount it shows in a negative number is the number of units (for me, usually grams) that you added to your recipe. Repeat pouring in until the scale registers as a negative number what you were looking to add (in this example, at the end it would say -20g).
Question:	Why are you using horribly faked superimposed photos of food? It throws off the scale of the product
Answer:	That's for "scale" (it's small: you put food on it, not people). Yes, these are definitely photoshopped, which is common here on Amazon. (If you click the strawberries and then hover your mouse over the different colors, you'll see that these are the EXACT same strawberries in each picture. ) Take a look at the review photos for something more real.
Question:	Could this scale be used to weigh a small cat under 10lbs if I put cat in a box
Answer:	"Schrodinger's cat" LOL! Patricia, I use my scale to weigh my parrot. i just have to get him to hold still for a second which I do by holding an almond in front of him. Cats usually momentary freeze when they see something interesting to them as well. Alternatively, you could make an odd sound, like a distressed mouse squeak. Your cat will probably freeze at that in order to determine where the noise is coming from. Let the cat play in the box before you put it on the scale so she/he will be used to being in it.

Answer:	If you put the food on the scale and then turn the switch on, the scale will automatically zero. This is a very intelligent function.I found out in my scale which received a few days ago.So that the pictures are not wrong.
