Answer:	I have put a 25 pound turkey on it in my large roasting pan - that is the largest I have tested! I have also put two 5 pound chickens side by side.

Answer:	It appears to be stainless. It is easy to clean. It is the best small roasting rack I have found.
Question:	Would this fit into a 7 quart oval Crockpot
Answer:	it works either way but when inclined, it lifts the roast up for more even cooking and it's not sitting in its juices, perhaps making the bottom soggy. It does not fit well into some narrower pans so make sure of your measurements before you order. i have never had a problem with it, however.
Question:	So what is the rack made of? stainless steel, chrome or polished steel
Answer:	Not sure what the heaviest would be but I used it with a 22 pound turkey. I hope this helps

Question:	Can I spray food or pan with non-stick spray to help spices to stick
Answer:	Handles do just "drift" on either side of the roasting pan; there is no locking mechanism to hold them in one spot. I do not find this a problem though, and I'm betting you won't either. Buy them, you won't be disappointed!
Question:	What is the non stick surface made of? I know that standard non stick isn't good for your health

Question:	Will it fit in my Breville BOV800XL smart oven
Answer:	The rack is not stainless or chrome. I bought it, I held it in my hand, I cooked with it. There's a big difference between stainless steel, chrome plated and black. The rack I have has some kind of black coating on it that chips off. There are other reviews that have the same problem.
Question:	Is this pan safe for use on the stove top? I want to follow a recipe that brings liquids to a boil on the stove top in a "roasting pan" before it's placed in the oven
Answer:	Great question...it would be nice if the distributor answered this. Some Chinese plant use chrome that might not be durable or foodsafe.
Question:	can we use this in gas oven
Answer:	No this roasting rack will not work with an oval 7 qt. Crockpot. It is slightly too long and the corners are not narrow enough to fit either. For my oval crockpot I use an 8 by 6 inch OVAL rack. The beef roast, pork roast or roasting hen can be larger than the rack used as the rack is meant to just keep items out of the liquids. This rack I purchased for my medium sized oval turkey roaster (12 lbs or less) and it works fine for that purpose.
Question:	How do you clean this wonderful pan & rack? After many uses it starts to build up that dark brown, baked on grease that a brillo pad didn't remove
Answer:	The description said it was chrome which means it’s plated and most likely the base material is mild steel. Not stainless but will perform as a cooking rack just fine.

Question:	Does anyone know what the measurements [length & width] of the "squares" inside the rack
Answer:	The description says carbon steel. The instructions say not to use metal utensils since it could scratch the nonstick surface. Food cooks nicely on it and it washes up great. Do not put in dishwasher.

Answer:	Yes, we have not done it but we did fries and bacon and they were not as crispy as advertised. We went back to our old method of a pan with parchment paper and they turn out great, Very disappointed with her "crisper."

Question:	Can it fit a 10 by
Answer:	It is small and the handles are attached to the rack, not to the pan. The pan is made with folded metal and direct heat only on the bottom might warp the pan. For such a recipe, I would choose a pan specifically made for roasting and gravy preparation after, with sturdy handles attached to and well above the pan walls and construction intended to dissipate heat without warping the frame of the pan.
Question:	How high is the bottom of the rack from the surface of the pan? Or how much space is there between the bottom of the pan and the bottom of the rack
Answer:	My oven is electric, so I have not tried cooking with this pan in a gas oven. But years ago I had gas stoves for cooking, & I don't recall that there were any particular restrictions on the use of the oven. At least, I used gas & electric ovens in the same way & found no differences between them. You might check with someone in a department store homewares department or google the question.
Question:	how much clearance does this rack offer above the roasting pan? (how much above the pan does it hold the meat
Answer:	First of all, it is a coated, non-stick surface. NEVER use a metal pad to clean it.I soak it with DAWN and use the point of a wood skewer to clean the corners out.I use this pan at least once a week, and it still looks almost brand new. NOTE: If you have scratched the coating by using Brillo, it has lost its non-stick features. You may want to get a new one and clean it differently.I hope this helps.
Question:	Will the rack hold a 18 pound turkey
Answer:	Hello Consumer,Thank you for your inquiry. We do not recommend using any spray from a can. If you have a manual pump that you use to spray on the oil, that will be ok to use. The aerosol spay cans will effect the product and cause a sticky residue to occur over time. Or you can wipe on the oil as you wish. We hope this information is helpful to you. Answer:	by looking at the picture 6 squares long ways divided by 6 is close to a little over 1.5" and 4 squares divided is about the same at the longest and widest points by their dimension
Question:	how far apart are the spaces in this rack
Answer:	I have the “Crock-pot” brand oval 6 qt slow cooker. The racks fit great in that brand and size. The measurements of my rack is exactly as stated in Amazon’s description. So if you have the brand “Crock-pot” 6 qt oval, it will fit. Not sure about other brands. Sorry I couldn’t of more help.
Question:	Can this be used in a crock pot? I don't know how hot a crock pot actually gets
Answer:	Stainless steel. They are very small and not heavy duty. I had to use both in my large roasting pan to put my 18 pound turkey on. It is more suitable for a chicken. I would order something else if you plan to roast a large piece of meat.
Question:	OK for higher temperatures used in broiling
Answer:	The broil pan measures 13.5x9.5x2.25(All inches) your Breville Smart oven measures 18.5x16.25x11.25(all inches).Looks like an easy fit to me.

Answer:	No. The outside measurements are 14" x 11.25".

Answer:	About a half inch

Answer:	It will depend on your roasting pan. I have an AllClad large with flared sides. The lowest part of the rack sits about 3/4" above the pan. The center is about 4" wide. When I want to roast larger vegetables with the meat like potatoes I run them down the sides.
Question:	Is it seramic
Answer:	I have used it for a 17 pound rib roast and it worked very well. It should easily hold a 30 pound or even somewhat larger turkey.

Answer:	This rack works like any other rack. Juices go in bottom of pan and you can still make gravy.

Answer:	Hi Holly--the actual opening between the silicone slats measure 1" --the slats are almost 1/4" --love this rack--cleans easy !!!
Question:	Does this product contain BPA
Answer:	I don't think heat is an issue with crock pots. They don't usually get that hot. Size and shape are what makes a difference. Being square, it didn't fit well in my oval pot.
Question:	Can this be used with a enamel covered Dutch oven
Answer:	that's a question for the maker, I have used it for broiling meat, but the rack was almost completely covered.
