Answer:	I've only used it for family sized cans, but it's tall enough to open large cans. However, I'm not sure if a commercial sized cans would fit.

I purchased a PowerLix can opener from Amazon and it is dishwasher safe and I have had it in the dishwasher several times. Look at this can opener if you want to put it in the dishwasher.

Question:	how to rinse the blade after use
Answer:	The opening wheel (not really a blade) does NOT touch the contents in the can. It only contacts the outside edge of the can rim. So the food is not contaminated. Sometimes, some of the food leaks out and gets of the wheel. I use a small brush dipped in warm dish water to clean the wheel. A tooth brush works great.

Answer:	Imagine getting something at the store where the package is hard plastic. You run to get scissors to cut through the package but with some effort, you still can't stretch it open without cutting further.. You then cut through horizontally from one end to the other and are trying to pry open the packaging and you cut yourself with a fountain of blood flowing out of your cut fingers. Still not frustrated?"Frustration-Free Packaging" is VERY straightforward packaging which makes opening said product(s) VERY seamless, is friendly to the environment by being recyclable, and is simply a no-brainer to open. This type of packaging comes cheaper because it is usually cheaper to manufacture a simple cardboard box/envelope (ordered in volume) versus the annoying plastic packaging or needlessly involved boxes that serve no useful function (i.e. complicated designs come at a cost).Some personal opinions:- I choose frustration-free regardless of price because of the ease of use when it comes to opening the items.- They're in some cases more reliable than the manufacturer's packaging being crammed into a box with bags of air and wiggle room in part due to shock sensitivity.- I've been cut before trying to open retail-packaged, clamshell packaging (the plastic that usually gets cut with scissors). Answer:	I would not recommend this product for any use. I used it 3-4 times with regular sized can and it worked poorly at best. Next time tried to use and the brand new Duracell batteries about a month later and it was not able to open anything. Wish I had returned it right off because then I found it was too late to return and I'm just out the money I paid for nothing useful. It only uses batteries and nothing "professional" about it.

Answer:	Do not, under any circumstances, tilt this forward. The construction of this item is designed to be used vertically. Tilting it forward will allow very hot water to seep out of the holes that are designed to release the steam.

Answer:	I think it depends on the type of coat. A wool winter coat should probably be kept hanging & taken to dry cleaner occasionally, but suit coats and blazer type coats seem alright when I steam the wrinkles away. Perhaps the refinement and type of wool has an impact. In a craft class I was told that when making raw wool garments, I should wash the wool prior to sewing so it won't shrink later-- those items are easily steamed when I use them. I hope you find what works for you.

Answer:	I use this can opener allot, although I have not had it for 6 months. It is still quite sharp.

Answer:	I've had this opener for about three years and I use it maybe twice a week. I wash it in the dishwasher about half the time (after opening a can of tuna, etc). About six months ago the hinge area started to rust, and it's now so stiff that it's almost unusable. Until the rusting started it was very good though, with a smooth action and a comfortable grip. I'll probably get the same model again.Update on 4/Oct/14: After 5 months of light use - same as above, but only washed a few times in the dishwasher - the hinge is rusting again and the action is much stiffer. So no, it isn't rust-proof and it doesn't appear to be dishwasher safe. I won't be buying it again.
