One could add weight to the feet of the stands for stability, but the crossbar is made by 3 shorter bars. It will sag in the center with even from 2lbs of weight from a light weight drop. As the drop gets heavier, the more the center will sag.

Step 1: Measure the diameter of your table. A diameter is the straight line going through the center of a circle.

Step 2: You need to know your desired drop length. This depends on the type of event you're planning. And add twice drop to the diameter. For example, the diameter of your table is 48 inch, and you want a 6 inch drop, then add 12 inch to 48 inch, to get 60 inch.
