I believe the ones that come attached to the lid, seal more tightly and are intended for longer fermentations while the gaskets in the bag that come with the hole in the center, are intended for your standard medium length fermentations. |

You don’t have to remove the silicone gasket but you can if you want. Just make sure it is washed properly before you use it. Fill the bottles as soon as possible. |
