Answer:	No, it is not dishwasher safe. You shouldn't put anything made of wood into a dishwasher, the heat will warp and eventually crack thr wood. Finished pieces will last longer going through a dishwasher but all wooden products will eventually break down in a washer

Answer:	I wouldn't. My guess is that constant water will eventually make them warp. From a germ perspective, glass or ceramic is best for animals. These are very nice salad bowls though.

Answer:	That is why I bought them but the green and blue band run right down the middle which I did not know about, Unfortunately there was a flaw in 4 or 5 of them and therefore I was going to use them to practice on. The lady I e-mailed said that was not good enough and insisted on replacing also apologized for not making it clear where the coloured band was. She sent me 5 of the ones with the red stripe down the sides as a replacement so I could see if they were better for what I wanted. 10 out of 10 for customer relations. The towels are a bit thin but once you wash them and spray with a little starch they look better. They embroider well as long as the embroidery is not too dense. Hope this helps you.

Answer:	Yes, and softer over time. I do NOT use fabric softener on any of my towels, as it leaves a residue that affects absorbency. I’ve owned these towels for over 5 years and bleach them every time I launder them because they’re white, and I want them to stay that way. They launder, including bleach, wonderfully. Remove from dryer promptly to prevent wrinkles, as with other cotton fabrics.
