Answer:	I'm not home right now, but I would guess it is approximately 5" to 6" in width. We dipped Rice Krispie squares in chocolate with a handle in, and put them in rows 3 deep and rows of 5 in length. they fit perfectly and still had a little lip around the dish to keep the treats on.
Question:	Could I use it without the plates? or not because it is just a metallic frame but not an actually rack under the plates

Answer:	Unfortunately, the medium-sized risers are only available as part of the set.
Question:	I'd like to buy three medium-sized risers (all the same size). Is this possible
Answer:	The stand is sturdy but Im not sure that the plate would not move when you pushed down. I guess it would depend on the size of the bottle and how hard you pushed down. I simply remove my lotion and place it on the counter. Use it and place it back on the stand. I have hair products, deoderant, Parfums , toothpaste and things like that on mine. Hope this helps.

Question:	Will this work for ice cream cones with pointed bottoms
Answer:	Each slot measures 2.7 centimeters in diameter.
Question:	Will cotton candy cones work with this
Answer:	I would go smaller, 5". I typically use the kind of white paper cones that you might find for a water cooler. I also stagger them every other since they touch otherwise, so you don't actually get to use all 20 slots. Looks great though!
Question:	what size cones does this work with...5" cones and/or 7" cones
Answer:	My response is for the item I purchased,which now that I look at the picture,isn't what is I purchased. Amazon pulled a bait and switch, asking me to respond to this question, but the item I purchased was different. My stand is rectangular and holds 20 cones.The holes are about an inch in diameter, plus or minus a 16th of an inch. It's so the serving cones will sit high enough on the display for proper presentation. Hope this helps. If you need specific hole sizes, try Etsy-there are vendors that will custom make. having said that, this stand is much nicer than I expected, and I'm very satisfied.
Question:	i need to know the exact diameter of each hole. i need it to be bigger than 1.2 but less than
Answer:	There are individual cutouts in the wooden tray for each porcelain bowl to ensure they do not move about. Similarly, there is a cutout on the underside of the tray to hold it in position when placed on the metal stand.
