Question:	Is it safe to keep butter on the counter
Answer:	It is perfectly safe to keep your butter out on the counter but keep these things in mind. .I always keep it covered(in a dish like this one)and away from the stove to keep it from getting heated accidentally. Also, be cautious of things that may contaminate the butter-for example using it to make a baked potato and getting potato bits in it or using it to make toast with jelly and getting jelly and bread crumbs in it. I just always use a clean knife to make sure this doesn't happen.

Answer:	I think it would be too big to fit in the butter section, I haven't tried it but the dish is pretty big
