Answer:	Turned on no. You have to hit a temp setting button, then the start button. To turn off yes but be very careful, the black boil setting does not shut off automatically. The water will boil until you shut it off with no indication it is boiling.

Answer:	The Keep Warm button and the selected temp button stay lit. Every so often it reheats the water. If the water was boiled, it reboils. If it was set to a lower temp, it brings it back to that temp. The light in the water lights while it's being reheated.

Answer:	It made about 10 cups. We had a cup each, saved the brew and was able to make another batch with the same flower. We just iced it and had tea for a couple of days.

Answer:	In general, you NEVER put a teapot directly on the stove, no matter what teapot. They are designed that you boil the water separately in a metal tea kettle. Once the water is the correct temperature, you pour it over the tea leaves which are in the teapot and steep them. Teapots are generally pretty, decorative, and often fragile. You will definitely ruin your teapot and potentially injure yourself if try to put the teapot on direct heat. Cannot stress this enough.
