The only trouble I’ve had with it is the lighter socket cord is so cheap that it can’t handle the 5.5A 12V input continuously, and the cord melts before the in-line fuse blows. Works flawlessly though on 115V input. |

| Answer: | I'm not sure whether there's foam in it, but I'm pretty sure it's at least hollow and so provides an air gap that insulates. We used this on a driving trip from Syracuse to the Badlands, Yellowstone, Utah, Grand Canyon, and back and it kept stuff cold, though it's only able to get a certain number of degrees below ambient temperature. The AC converter was very convenient since we just wheeled the cooler into the hotel room and plugged it in so we didn't have to move stuff to a fridge or even worry whether the room had a fridge in the first place. |

| Answer: | Hi David. Really can't answer that! We've used it for two seasons now. Our season are about five months long, but we only use it a few days a week. Because they're mostly short hauls, we're not getting a lot of alternator recharge of our aux battery, so we're careful not to run the Koolatron any longer than we need it--could be as little as four hours a day, twice a week. When we do longer hauls, it's on for 12 hours daily for five-six days in a row. Sorry I can't be more helpful than that.As far as the cooling is concerned, it is a cooler and not a reefer--it cools about 30 degrees below ambient. Because we use it for shorter stints, be do add a frozen bottle of water to start, as otherwise it can take quite a while to cool down. I'm assuming you're keeping your ambient temperature around 72, so you should temps in the cooler in the low 40's--not adequate for long term food storage, but great to keep your drinks cool and a sandwich still smelling fresh hours later. |

| Answer: | All is good except volume. This is intended more for a picnic or keeping lunch and snacks for two for a day's drive. NOT a refrigerator--claims 30-40 degrees cooler than ambient temp. So if your vehicle is 72 inside, this will be around 42 if stuffed and 35 (refrig range) if filled litely for proper air circ. if car AC is off on a hot day and cooler is plugged in and air temp were say 85, cooler would only be 50-55--enuff to cool, but not to keep perishables safe. interior dimensions about 1/2" less than exterior ones for each sidewall thickness. 3 or 4 sandwiches, beverages, fruit and veggies. A dozen eggs would fit, packs of lunch meats, cheese, some fruits and veggies. But not enough for a full weekend of camping by any means. You'd need two, depending upon how much you eat and how many people. A great cooler for it's designed purpose--keeping a day's food cool but not necessarily refrig temp safe if ambient temp over 70 or if overstuffed. Please note that the cooling unit intrudes on the storage space by about 2.5" x 6w x 9"h. We built our center console (Sprinter van) around this unit with a ventilation opening for the cooling unit. That adds even more insulation, and it has been absolutely great for our daily excursions into the field. Hope this helps! |

| Answer: | It is a bowl to hold the ice and a tray to put vegetable,fish, ect. I used one for fruit for the drink table, lemons, oranges, limes, strawberries, and on the condiment table for onions, lettuce, and tomatoes. Hope that helps. |

| Answer: | The top part of the dish is divided into 4 parts with a removable cup in the middle, which can hold sauces or dips. Each of the compartments are approximately 4 3/4" wide by 6-6 3/4". I have used the entire top for shrimp cocktail-about 2 pounds of large shrimp. It has also been used for vegetables and dip. Although I did. To measure the quantity of vegetables, I would guess that each compartment held about 3cups. The bottom portion of the unit can be used separately and would be great for a large salad or dessert. Although I have only used this a few times, I was satisfied with it. I have seen this same item in a store at a much higher price. |
