The taller cups fit so about 2 inches of the bottom fits into the top of another cup. The short cups fit about a 1/4 of an inch into the top of the other cup. You can stack to save space. We've only had them a few weeks, but we have not seen any scratches. We love them. They look like real glasses. |

| Answer: | The bottoms of these are flat, very little water ends up staying on the cup after running in the dishwasher. But you have to have "heat dry" on. I also reccomend using a rinse aid to prevent water spots on them. |
