Make sure if you are using it on a smooth surface you dry it with a heat gun or hair dryer. While drying please also make sure to keep the dryer at least 5-6 inches away from the product so you don't blow it off before the product has a chance to bond to the glove. | Answer: | We get asked this question all the time, but it is very tough to answer. It is like asking how long a pair of shoes will last. If you properly apply the product, as seen in the YouTube videos, it becomes embedded into the surface of material or leather. If the gloves are only used occasionally, the functionality could last for a very long time. If you are using the gloves in an environment where they are exposed to heavy use, like an US Air Force Load Master on a C-17, application will need to be more often. However, it is largely misunderstood about how AnyGlove's functionality fades "under normal conditions." It isn't all of the sudden unless you scuff them against concrete or other abrasive material. You will notice a slow decline in sensitivity/functionality over the span of days. However, scuffing will cause the functionality to cease on virtually every touchscreen glove on the market. The only touchscreen gloves we know of that will withstand scuffing, via consumer comments at trade shows, are one's made with something called touchtec. The liquid gives your leather the same chemical properties that your finger has without staining or discoloring the leather. | Answer: | The issue with spandex is the stretching action causes a "fracturing of the conductive mesh/web," so to speak. AnyGlove creates a conductive mesh on the surface of whatever it is applied to and when the "conductive spider web" is large enough, the screen responds. The number one reason the product doesn't work for some is failure to apply it to a large enough "continuous" surface area or plane. But even when applied correctly, these are like delicate, rigid wires on a flexible surface, so they snap. If I were to apply this on spandex, I would put on latex gloves, slide the spandex glove over that, apply the product to the "stretched" out textile and fully dry it while on my hand. Hope this makes sense. |
