Answer:	You can get silicone bumpers that slide onto the straw on either side of the lid, to hold the straw in place and keep it quiet. Some products even come with tips as well as bumpers, in case you don’t care for the metal straw hitting your teeth. Amazon sells them. I have had zero rattling since I started using them, and I enjoy the tips, no burning your lips on a hot straw.

Answer:	Seem a little too short for me in the Yeti 20 oz. Barley enough if it sits just right. And these are more narrow than a regular drinking straw.

Answer:	First question: Line 3 of the description states that the lid (the plastic part) is BPA free. It doesn't specifically state that the straw is BPA-free (just calls it a plastic straw), but the website states that "all bubbas are BPA free." As to how it compares to a Yeti. Fairly well, would be my evaluation (I have the plain SS model). The construction is quite good. I have dropped mine off the top of my SUV on to a concrete floor (almost 6'), while it was full, and it only has a small dent, and it has small nicks and scratches from a year of constant use. How well would a Yeti fare? Probably as good or better. The question is is it worth 3 times as much? I got 3 of these for the price of one Yeti. Other negatives: It doesn't have a leak-proof lid (closeable opening), like the Yeti, so if that is an important feature, look elsewhere. And strangely, while the 18 oz is dishwasher safe, the 24 oz model is not (body), despite appearing identical. It doesn't matter, as the 24 oz size is too tall for the top rack of my non-adjustable dishwasher anyway.

Answer:	I've had mold develop in all three of mine (inside the straw/silicone parts). I've had washed, dishwasher top rack, and have tried cleaning with small brushes and vinegar. No luck.

Answer:	You can remove the small white gasket beneath the lid, allow the water to drain, and then - this parts important - wet the gasket and then use the sipping end of the straw to force it back in. Found this on Contigo’s website.

Answer:	If you can read my review (w/ pics), I go into great detail about why this cup is horrible for smoothies. I bought this cup specifically w/ the intent to use it for smoothies because of the large gauge straw. Beware the interior straw valve, it's easily damaged (and always seems to smell). The biggest problem with this cup is that the smoothie slowly creeps up the straw and out of the top of the straw and then fills the recess on the top of the cup and can cover the vent hole, which then pulls smoothie into the lid's matrix, where it gets trapped forever and molds. It happened to 3 cups!!! I finally gave up and trashed them all. We use the Thermos Brand "Fun"tainer for our smoothies now and have no complaints.

Answer:	I have never had this leak on me. It is pretty tight but I‘m not sure I would toss it in a bag...

Question:	Is this product BPA-free
Answer:	I've tried so many cups and this one doesn't leak! We love it. My 2 year old throws it, takes it with water to bed, it gets tossed in my diaper bag, and we've never had a leak issue. Sometimes very cold thing, like milk, when left to sit in a warm room will eventually ooze up the straw, but I think that is a temperature issue, not a design flaw. My only real complaint about this cup is that you can't buy replacement straws separately. Eventually, he bites it so much that it doesn't work and I feel like we're throwing out perfectly good cups and replacing them on a repeat, when all we need is a new straw. But we keep doing it because it's really the best cup we've found so far.
