Answer:	They're pretty thin, in my opinion . . . but surprisingly sturdy. When I first received them, I almost returned them because I was worried that they would break quickly in our busy office. They seemed fragile, but they're stronger than you'd think. Just thin enough to look rather elegant for a meeting. Two thumbs up!

Answer:	I got a pkg with moisturizer and a mask. The moisturizer is not a tube but a pump bottle that doesn’t work. There isn’t a straw tube inside to pull the moisturizer to the pump!!! Well, the 4.5 ounce tumblers are a little small for the ascetic you are looking for; this size really can only comfortably hold a double-jigger's worth of liquid. The size of glass you are likely looking for--similar to what would be used in Italy for "casual" wine drinking--would be either the 5 3/4 (5-oz. being a "standard" serving of wine) or 7 3/4 tumbler glasses. Resulting Mechanical Properties: the product is 2.5 times more resistant than a fired product of equal thickness.

The original owners shut down all but one of the factories which they sold about 10 years ago. Initially the new owners weren't making glasses of the same quality, but that problem seems to have been resolved. Each glass lasts at least 5 or more years before they get sensitive and occasionally explode! I still have a few that may be at least 20 years old. I've replaced them around 3 times over the last 30 years, so well worth the money. Good luck

I placed an empty glass in the microwave along with a coffee cup of water and turned it on for a minute. The glass got very warm, though not hot. Answer:	I also saw the reviews that said the glasses could break spontaneously and was concerned. I decided to take a chance as the reviews were several years old. So far I have had no problems and the glasses have been great. They stack nicely in the cupboard. I have had 1 break but it hit the side of the sink so it was not due to spontaneous shattering. Hope you have the same experience if you decide to buy them.

Answer:	The 6 oz glasses are about 3 1/4 inches tall. You might want to look at the Duralex Picardie glasses instead. I've dropped a couple of the Bormioli glasses. They break into very small sharp shards. I've replaced most of mine with the Duralex glasses. They have been dropped without breaking.
