Answer:	We've had this set for over 5 years -- no issues with rust. It is a durable heavy set that is not prone to bending or wear. Expensive, but worth the cost IMHO.

Answer:	Everything is safe except for the knives, which will spot or rust if washed in the dishwasher. This seems to be true for almost all stainless steel flatware. It is safer to wash the knives by hand and dry immediately which will keep them like new. The rest of the flatware does great in our dishwasher.

Question:	Black comes off? Even with hand washing
Answer:	I been putting mine in dishwasher for last 7 month and I started notice discoloration last month. I use them daily. I just rubbed with my finger and it was back to normal. But I took my out dishwasher today, The black and design is coming off there was also rust under neither the where the black came off. I don't think they are dishwasher safe. This is more then likely what is removing the finish.

Question:	What's the difference between 18/0 and 18/10? Which is better
Answer:	Stainless flatware that is 18/10 means that 18 percent is chromium and 10 percent is nickel. The higher the nickel content, the more protection the flatware has from corrosion. The prices of stainless steel flatware vary considerably depending on these specs and quality, so don’t be fooled into thinking you are buying the best quality if the nickel content is 0 percent.

Answer:	It says this at end of description, but it also says 18/0 in middle of description. Who knows? “All Oneida fine flatware is 18/10 or 18/8.”
Question:	Do they pass the icecream challenge? I hate when spoons bend when scooping icecream
Answer:	If your icecream container is small enough, I would put it in the microwave for about 15 seconds. That way it's softened up a bit but not completely melted and you don't have to worry about bending your spoons.

Answer:	They are defiantly a shine finish. The 18/10 metal

Answer:	These pieces are much larger than what we used in the past--if you are looking for dainty you'll want to look elsewhere. If you want something more weighty or masculine you' lol like these.

Answer:	Knife handle is thick flat rather than puffy like a sausage Its edges are rounded off curves rather than right angles. I can live with that because the heft of the handle is substantial. The gleaming finish is almost a mirror and arrived without any scratches.

Answer:	They are of substantial weight, quite heavy.

Answer:	6 1/4 inches long & 1.5" across the widest part of the spoon.
Question:	How bendable is this silverware? Can it be bent or is it quite stiff? My family is hard on silverware
Answer:	Pictures do not do this set justice! It's very contemporary looking and very sturdy! Good luck trying to bend these, even with scooping out ice cream. The small spoons are shorter than average, but the scope part is wide. Ive gone through a lot of silverware in my life but feel these will last a lifetime.

Answer:	For that price, it's almost certainly China. Have you checked out Liberty Tabletop? They're the last flatware company still manufacturing in the USA. They're a little pricy for me, but they have some nice stuff. Good luck!
