The space where you could put an initial is very small. I don't believe it would be attractive. The Dover design might work better if you really want to add a monogram and would like a similar Oneida set.

Answer: I don’t know, I’m thinking that there’s a standard size because it looks ‘normal’. Just to give you a heads-up, this pattern is very bottom heavy and I was forever picking up silverware that had fallen to the floor.

Answer: If your icecream container is small enough, I would put it in the microwave for about 15 seconds. That way it's softened up a bit but not completely melted and you don't have to worry about bending your spoons.

Answer: My family & I have had probably 3 sets of this flatware since my husband & I got married, 25 years ago. The only problem I have is that I keep running out of small spoons, but raising 3 boys that's bound to happen. My only wish is that we could order these little spoons SEPARATELY, & that's never been the case. So, still shiny after all these years!

Answer: No, just a slight ridge outlining the piece. The beading in the front is very small. I love this flatware. It has a nice weight to it and sits comfortably in your hand. It feels almost as nice as my sterling & is almost as attractive. I took a picture, but the app would only allow a video.
