Answer:	You should be able to contact the company directly. When I received my CERT one plate was broken and they shipped one out immediately. That being said, another one of the plates has subsequently broken but I did not try to replace it as it is out of the Amazon replacement window.

Answer:	The large plate weights 1 pound 10 ounces. The salad plate and bowl both weight 10 ounces. As an example of weight difference my ceramic dinner plate weights 1 pound 15 ounces. Not the light weight Corelle ware of 12.5 ounces. A plastic ware dinner plate from Hefty weighs 1.9 ounces . Hope this helps.

Answer:	The plate itself will not get hot from the microwave. But the heat from the food will get hot and transfer heat to the plate. Don’t fill the plate to capacity and you should be fine. And of course remove it quickly before the heat dissipates to the plate.

Answer:	I also received a chipped plate with my order. There wasn’t any pieces in the box which means it was broken before shipment. Frustrating considering this add says they are chip/break resistant. I had to ship all 6 back to get my credit, and I’m hesitant to order again. Answer:	The clay color is continued on the backside.
Question:	Are the colors well-represented on screen? Looks like red, yellow, green and a blue so deep it's almost black on the plate view
Answer:	The colors are beautiful. The blue is a darker blue but it is definitely blue and not black. The others are pretty much as represented. I liked them so well I bought a second set and use them for outdoor dining in the summer.

Question:	This has been answered but the reviews split on whether or not melange 100% melamine dinnerware set (clay collection) is microwave safe. does it say
Answer:	The manufacturer says no to the microwave. So do other sellers of melamine dishes. I've used for short times - 60 seconds max - and it seems fine. Don't know about a chemical change but you could research it.
